I just received the email directing us to the YouTube channel and was wondering about all the free videos and information that is here. Will all the information available to us here be available on the YouTube channel? I’ve printed some things but find I still go back and refer to content here. I’m hoping to find out if I need to spend some time this weekend taking notes of what I want to still have for future reference before the 31st. I’ve found this information so helpful. I’ve grown so much more than expected this year and want to keep that momentum!!! Thank you!

What’s next?
Now that I’m officially a 9 Miler 🥰 I was thinking about my next steps. I would love to use this technique and increase speed for some shorter distances (especially during the winter as I will continue to run outside all year round). Is it going to be bad for me over time if I train for some shorter distance races with this method during colder times of the year and then do more marathon training when it’s warmer? I don’t know if it’s okay to change up mileage and intensity so much. I did find the training plan explanations for the different distances and have the MHR calculations for the different distances.Thanks!

@Michael Thorley yes thanks! I can definitely do some off road running. I also tend to do a fair bit of running in the snow which is never easy. I’ll keep doing thag too.
I did it!!!!! My first marathon
I can’t thank everyone here enough for all the encouragement. @Marlies Kort and @Baz Zwaan you have helped me to do something that I never thought I could do. I’m so worn out and had to walk towards the end a bit but I made sure to run over the finish line and I wasn’t the last person either!!!!! My nutrition plan was good. I didn’t get a migraine which I tend to do on long runs. My heart rate stayed in MHR until the last 10k but I consider that a huge win!!! I just feel so accomplished. Today has been my best day and I couldn’t be happier. Good luck to everyone else who has a race coming up soon. You’re going to be great!!!!

First marathon is in 12 days!
I’ve been working really hard at this and doing my best to follow all the instructions but I’m still feeling intimidated to do the run. My goal is to finish. It needs to be in 6 hours or less to be an official complete and I don’t know why my nerves are really getting to me. Based on my MHR, I should be okay with a buffer of time but I’ve never run this long. Physically I’m feeling really good. I’ve been loving the interval runs and the MHR runs but I still feel nervous. I have gels, snacks and will carry water with me in my running vest. Does anyone have any tips for success? Is the first marathon always this nerve wracking???

@Baz Zwaan thank you!!!
Should I be hungry?
I have completed the first week of training and with that, I’m doing my best to follow the eating recommendations as well. I’m coming from counting macros that included eating a lot of carbs. Now that I’m eating more fat and running fasted, I’m feeling really good. My energy seems to be steadier than it was in the past which is awesome but I’m wondering about feeling hungry. When I was counting macros with carbs, I was hungry absolutely all the time. Now, I feel like I’m eating less because I’m not having those hunger pains. As I said, I feel great, and could lose a few pounds so I’m not too worried, I just wasn’t sure if the appetite change was something that is common.
