How to build reliable systems with LLMs
Are you using the OpenAI API in your projects? If so, then I'm going to tell you right now that there is probably a better way to do that. In this video, I share everything that you need to know about getting structured output from OpenAI in order to build more reliable systems with LLMs. We compare prompting techniques, JSON mode, function calling, and the Instructor library to find the best way to integrate OpenAI models into applications. The video is linked below. I hope you find it helpful. If you do, consider subscribing :)

This was very informative and enlightening. It hits on different level when you see something working like this, just got so many implementation ideas soo early in my journey of learning, just by this video. High on curiosity. 🧨

Optimizing Algorithms for Face Recognition and Pose Detection in Meditation Apps
Greetings, I'm currently working on a project—an exercise app for Android—that aims to automatically calculate meditation time when the user's face is detected and they are in the correct meditation pose. If either condition is not met, the timer will pause. The project primarily consists of two core functions: 1. User Authorization: Utilizing face detection, the camera must identify the user's face during meditation sessions. 2. Pose Validation: Verifying if the user is in the correct meditation pose. My teacher recommended using MediaPipe for this endeavor. However, beyond this suggestion, there isn't much additional information. Could you provide some guidance or outline a development flow for this project?

@Dai Nguyen According to me 1. You can search for all the models available and compare them by going through their documentation. 2. Select the best model catering to your need 3. Fine tune the model according to your requirements, beware of overfitting. 4. Test if it is working as expected. For MediaPipe you can follow the below steps: 1. You can start by forking this repo https://github.com/google/mediapipe 2. Go through all the readme’s 3. Go through the release notes 4. Clone it in your system 5. Try running it without training first 6. If the results are satisfying voila, otherwise fine tune it according to your need. Beware of overfitting. PS: Here is the link which might help you to pick a best fit model for you need https://pallawi-ds.medium.com/which-human-pose-estimation-model-should-you-pick-to-realise-your-ideas-for-a-video-analytics-6ca754cc1f4e Happy Learning 🧨
