Her placement — high on the wall, facing my door — felt like a message: “I’m holding the doorway while you transition.” It wasn’t protection from danger, but rather a calm assurance: something new is moving toward you, and I’ve got eyes on it. Cats often appear when energy is shifting — when we’re about to step through an invisible gate in our journey. Cali reminded me that not every guardian stands tall or roars loudly.
