Happy Halloween. Tomorrow we begin
Let's go men. You're greatness awaits. Let that ego begin to die and step into the man god made you to be. This month I am going to be following the 'eat like a weapon' guide and getting my diet on point. I will not be eating any snacks or tasty treats that do not serve my mission. See the guide in the classroom->ELW Social media scrolling, Alcohol, cannabis, excessive caffein, nicotine, are just the basics of what are taking the most of your time. Don't be naive. If you cut something out, look for something to show up somewhere else. In the classroom you'll see a more detailed list in the 30 day challenge area. But here are a few things to watch out for. 1. when you're having a conversation, are you listening or just waiting to respond w something that strokes your ego? that's an addiction, that's a habit of the body. 2. Are you liking women's stories or sliding in there dm's even though you know your wife/gf would not approve. I know we think we are smart, but be sober minded guys, you know what you're doing. I've been there myself trust me. Micro Cheating is a real thing. 3. Negative thinking. Ruminating on the past. Holding grudges. Hating on people. Judging. Gossiping (yes men gossip as much as women). These are just a few things to watch out for. If you want true clarity and sobriety, it takes extreme honesty with yourself. When you do this right, you will create space for god to come in and show you the path. Then it becomes much easier. I'm praying for alignment in every single man in this group. I'm in. I will get back on track with my 7 habits of health. Very similar to this program. 1. Mindfulness 2. Breathing 3. Eating 4. Movement 5. Strength 6. Rest 7. Connection I will still need to be on social media but will not do any scrolling. The penalty for scrolling is a quick exercise (pushups/pullups/situps/squats) and a phone time out. No alcohol and a strict bed time.
