My Honest Thoughs On Tonka Serrapia (My opinion)
tonka serrapia is a wonderfully beautiful Tonka fragrance that projects beautifully and lasts a long time. I've had it in my collection for about a year, and I find that the vanilla is a bit too strong for my taste. I do love vanilla in fragrances, but I prefer it in a more balanced way. It has an impressive longevity of over 12 hours, making it perfect for winter and formal evenings, and it truly offers a refined, sophisticated gourmand experience. However, I feel this fragrance is a bit overhyped and not quite worth the price. Some reasons I feel this way include the steep cost for a 50ml bottle, redundancy if you already have similar tonka fragrances, and its unsuitability for warm weather. The scent can be quite overpowering and sweet, with an aggressive, nostril-burning opening and some medicinal or chemical notes at times. The development of the scent is fairly linear, with a mature, somewhat dated powdery character, and the sillage can feel heavy and potentially headache-inducing. These impressions are based on my personal experience. Overall, I believe there are amazing alternatives to this fragrance that are not only more affordable but also smell even better.
