Hey guys! Just popping in to introduce myself. My favorite color is blue. I am currenlty at the beginning of my skool community journey...hoping to get over my analysis paralysis🤣 and get my community going

I’m running a small experiment on Skool and I’m curious how others here think about it. Rather than optimizing for a single type of community, I’m testing two in parallel. Same platform, similar effort, different motivation. One is more serious and professionally oriented. The other is deliberately hobby-driven. The goal isn’t to see which one “wins.” It’s to understand how different motivations behave here when the inputs are held constant. Who engages, how deeply, and what kind of energy comes back over time. Early on, it feels close to a 50/50 split, but that’s anecdotal. The real value will be in observing participation, retention, and signal quality, not just raw growth. Regardless of the outcome, I expect this to sharpen how I think about community design on Skool and where this platform is strongest. If you’ve run similar experiments or noticed patterns here, I’d be interested in your take. TIA

I’m Eric. I spent 10 years living out of a van playing drums on tour — now I run an AI business. 🦄 Favorite color: I lost a gig once for saying so, but PURPLE 🌈 Favorite Pokémon: Cubone – because he is haha 🪿 Current Skool challenge: we grew to ~140 members, but it feels too “night class about AI” and not enough “arcade for people who build AI $$$” Taught myself AI (w/ and w/o code), duct-taped a business together while I was learning, and somehow replaced my income online in ~7 months. I kept a journal the whole way through, so my thing now is to teach folks what worked. Cut out my dumb decisions and hand people the wins. Success without the scars, right? Looking forward to getting to know y’all!!! P.S. Anyone here managed to turn an educational community into something people are low-key obsessed with? What’s one experiment / dumb idea that dialed that in? Lemme know so I can steal it hah!

Hello beautiful peeps 👋 Total newbie and new arrival here 🤗 Not even sure how I found my way here but SOOoo glad I did bc I’m loving all the energy, fun, and vibe so far I literally love ALL the colours of the rainbow 🌈 (aka commitment phobe) including some good old black, white and gray 🥰 Pokémon was never my thing - sorry I can’t tell I my favorite 🥹 Can’t remember what else I needed to answer 🤣 Just started my Skool a few weeks ago 🙌 I have tried alllllllllllll the platforms out there and never found one I loved until now - although I did resist Skool for a while - not sure why. Whole new journey for me taking my energy alignment and coaching fully online AND going from a content consumer and coach to a creator and TEACHER 🤓 Excited to learn, connect, and serve and grow together 💞🎉🦋
