Noticing Love in All Its Forms
With it being Valentine’s Day, I’d love to invite you to notice love and how it feels in you. Instead of thinking about love in general, or how you can "get" love or "give" love, take a pause and notice how different forms of love actually feel in your body. How does unconditional love feel in you? What about love that feels conditional? Can you sense the energy of first love, or the feeling of being fully accepted (and loved) just as you are? Notice friendship love, romantic love, and even the nurturing presence of self-love. Each one can have its own texture, warmth, softness, or movement inside. If you take a moment to feel into these, I’d love to hear what you notice. Which form of love stood out to you the most, and how did it feel in your body? 👇Share a word, a sensation, or a few thoughts below if you feel called, I’d love to read your experience. Noticing Love in All Its Forms
#TipTuesday - Feeling In a Funk? Try This With Your Body
Have you ever notice how when you feel blah, stuck, or low… that your body is usually slumped, heavy, smaller or slouching? Tip: Start with your body. Notice your posture. Is your posture slumped, slouching or collapsed? Are you holding your breath or maybe you have shallowness of breath? Do you feel tightness through your chest or shoulders? Take a moment, move, get up, open your chest and arms, stretch, or stand tall, let your spine lengthen for just 30 seconds AND notice what shifts. Your body can lead you out of stuckness, out of blah, out of low energy. In The Body Wisdom Way, we practice listening to the body’s signals so it can guide choices, emotions, and direction, and so you’re no longer reacting to your body, but actually affecting what you want in life from the inside out. Are You Listening To The Signals Of Your Body?
I Heard “No One Will Want This”…
Last week as I was working on posts for my community, advertising, and sharing about it, I kept getting a tightness in my chest, and an inner voice that kept saying, "No one will want this. No one is interested." Because my community is around listening to your body wisdom, I asked that tightness what was going on? What do you need? What are you trying to tell me? And can I give you anything? The tightness was wanting to keep me safe and it didn't trust me to hear it. For so many years, I pushed past my body’s signals. I pushed to meet deadlines, pushed to keep going, and ended up burned out… one more time. This time though, I asked my body, and listened. It wanted to protect me, but it was also holding me back from what I truly wanted. Then I realized, I now am choosing to trust when my body says no, and I am honoring me, instead of pushing through. Can you relate? Hustle culture is still all around us, but doesn't have to be the way you live. There is another way, and for me, that way has been learning to listen to my body and trust my inner guidance… because pushing doesn’t allow you to align to right timing, to what lights you up, to the right tools to get the job done… but listening does… So, If you're curious, and curious to make this shift too, come join us and explore inside The Body Wisdom Way 💛

I Heard “No One Will Want This”…
#BreakingNews : Finding Me
For all of my career and most of my life, I was looking for my happiness and my worth in achievements, in success, in what others thought of me, and needing their approval. What finally shifted things wasn’t just a mindset strategy, it was learning to listen to my inner knowing, and that came through the signals in my body. When I stopped overriding what my body was telling me… and started paying attention to sensations, tension, and ease, I found something I hadn’t been able to think my way into: clarity and a trust in me, and a guidance to what really mattered to me. My body showed me what felt true, what drained me, what aligned with who I actually am... and sooo much more... And that’s where my sense of purpose and meaning came from… in... me... not from pushing harder, but from listening within.
