🔥60-Day HR Interview Challenge — Day 18
We’ve reached the end of our Problem-Solving theme. Excellent work, staying consistent! This week, we practiced thinking clearly, staying calm under pressure, analyzing challenges, and making wise decisions. Today's final question focuses on improving one of the traits employers value the most. Let’s jump into Day 18. ☄️Day 18 Question: Share a time you improved a process or system. Think about situations where: 👉🏻 Made a workflow faster or more efficient 👉🏻 Organized a messy process 👉🏻 Improved communication or clarity in a system 👉🏻 Fixed something that wasn’t working well This question reveals your ability to identify opportunities for improvement, create measurable impact, and add value beyond your basic tasks. We will launch a brand-new theme and prepare for the next stage of growth. 🚀 Enjoy and keep building that interview muscle! 💪🔥

🚀 The Mindset Shift That Changes Your Entire Job Search
There’s a moment in every job search where strategy alone isn’t enough. You can have the perfect resume, the perfect routine, the perfect goals…but if your mindset collapses, everything else collapses with it. 👉 “Release what you cannot control…Focus on what you can control.” This is the core of a growth mindset — and it’s the difference between those who move forward and those who burn out. Let’s break this down. 🧠 1. Growth Mindset ≠ Positivity It’s not about being optimistic. It’s about being adaptive. A growth mindset says: - “Challenges help me grow.” - “Feedback is constructive.” - “My effort and attitude shape my abilities.” - “I can learn anything I commit to.” - “I like to try new things.” This is not motivational fluff — it’s a performance framework. 🔥 2. The Real Power: Letting Go of What’s Not Yours You can’t control: - who calls you back - how long a company takes - how competitive a role is - what a recruiter thinks - macro layoffs or market shifts You can control: - your outreach - your upskilling - your routines - your attitude - your discipline - your consistency Success comes from mastering your controllables — not obsessing over the rest. 🎯 3. Daily Actions That Build a Growth Mindset Here’s the system from today’s slide, upgraded with BTE-level clarity: Be CuriousAsk questions, explore strategies, challenge your own assumptions. Be Open to LearningEvery new tool, framework, or task is a competitive advantage. Learn from FailuresA rejection teaches more than a success ever could. Focus on the ProcessThe process makes you stronger long before the result arrives. Don’t Give UpPersistence isn’t just a trait — it’s a skill. And like any skill, it gets sharper with practice. ⭐ My Insight A growth mindset doesn’t remove challenges…It simply gives you the resilience to keep executing through them. This is the mindset that turns “setbacks” into “setups.”This is the mindset that builds consistency. This is the mindset that creates long-term success — in job search and beyond.

@Bardia Pakatchian Exactly. Focusing on inputs instead of outcomes is the mindset that creates lasting consistency. You’re on the right path. ✊🏻😀

#1 on the leaderboard in 45 days🥇
I want to start with something I still can’t believe: I became the #1 person on the leaderboard. I didn’t even celebrate it properly, but today, I finally want to say it out loud. Thank you. Thank you to this group, this community, and every single one of you who supported me, encouraged me, and believed in me. And especially, thank you to my incredible friends here, @Sara Moein @Zara Vajihi @Afsaneh Moayedi @Narges Azizi @Saman Bazmi …and so many others who’ve become more than just “members.”You’ve become my people. Your energy, your kindness, your presence, this is what made networking feel like a routine, not a task. A warm part of my day, and a special thank you to our coach @Alex B for the guidance, the mindset shifts, and all the valuable lessons you’ve shared with us. Today marks 45 days since I joined this community. And looking at where I stand now still feels unreal. I didn’t get here because I’m special. I got here because I showed up, stayed consistent, and tested myself in ways I never had before. And because this community gave me a safe space to grow, experiment, and rebuild the version of myself that I lost along the way. But if I’m being sincere… When I first joined, I felt small. I thought everyone was ahead of me, and I felt so far from their stage for applying for a 100K job, more confident, more experienced, more accomplished.I thought the things that happened to others would never happen to me. But my perspective changed. The moment I stepped in…The moment I tried, practiced, shared, spoke up, and stayed consistent…I realized something powerful: I wasn’t behind. I was just untested. And everything shifted after that, the growth, the friendships, the confidence, the connection I built with myself. This community didn’t just give me skills, but also gave me a new way of seeing myself. A perspective I didn’t know I needed.

Setting SMART Goals During Your Job Search
Most people “want a job.”But the people who actually land offers do something radically different: 👉 They engineer their job search with SMART goals. This morning I reviewed the Goal-Setting deck again, and the message was loud and clear:Clarity creates momentum.Vagueness creates frustration. Let’s break down the REAL meaning of SMART ,the version that actually moves the needle: 🎯 S — Specific A specific goal gives your brain a clear target. ❌ “I want to know more industry professionals.” ✅ “I want to improve my LinkedIn networking skills.” When you become specific, you become powerful. 🎯 M — Measurable If you can’t measure it, you can’t manage it. ❌ “By networking on LinkedIn.” ✅ “Send 100 custom connection requests weekly.” Measurement exposes the truth and helps you adjust fast. 🎯 A — Attainable Goals should stretch you, never break you. ❌ “Reach out more proactively.” ✅ “Message every new connection with a template and schedule 1–2 informational interviews weekly.” Progress comes from consistency, not intensity. 🎯 R — Relevant Every goal must serve the bigger purpose: getting you hired. ❌ “So that I can get referrals.”(Too vague, doesn’t define the impact) ✅ “Increase the pipeline through which I can get interviews.” When your goal aligns with your strategy, you accelerate. 🎯 T — Time-Bound A deadline turns a dream into a plan. ❌ “Sometime next week.” ✅ “Every weekday 6:30–7:30 AM for the next 4 weeks.” Time boundaries build discipline and protect momentum. ⭐ My Biggest Takeaway Today Job search success isn’t random. It’s the outcome of structured actions performed consistently. SMART goals turn your job search from: ❌ Unpredictable chaos into ✅ A controlled, measurable system This is how you build a pipeline. This is how you create interviews. This is how you win faster than the average job seeker. 🔥 Your Turn, Engage With This What’s ONE SMART goal you want to commit to this week? It can be: - LinkedIn outreach - Applications - Networking - Interview prep - Portfolio work - Upskilling
