How do you learn?
One of the toughest things about making courses is deciding which format to put them in. Some people hate videos. Some people hate reading. Some people like both, and want a transcript of the video... So in a not-so-sneaky way to conduct marker research... How do YOU prefer to learn stuff?

@Nick Bandy Samesies! Sometimes I want audio, sometimes I want to read it. Also, I'm over here giggling on the "come to my house and teach me, you coward" option 🤣
What a tool!
Anyone using a tool or software for your business you truly consider indispensable? Doesn't have to be revolutionary or bleeding-edge AI tech, just something you'd be lost without. Let's hear 'em...

@Nick Bandy It checked a lot of boxes for me. While there is a premium version, the free version has literally everything I needed. The design is similar to Trello, where you can set up various different boards and categories, and you can add tags and filters. A huge plus for me is that it's available offline (I spend a lot of time in areas with no wifi or cell service). I also like how easy it is to set recurring reminders/tasks for whatever makes sense. For example, you're not limited just to a specific date each month for monthly tasks, it can be as granular as something like "the second Monday of every month."

@Nick Bandy Haha that makes sense. Probably wouldn't work for you. I live in it all day every day. I also get a lot thrown at me, like my husband will ask me to do something very specific while I'm right in the middle of something else. If I didn't set a reminder somewhere, I would never remember those types of things.
🔥 Social Blitzkrieg Phase 1: First Contact
Today we officially kick off our assault on social media: 30 days, 30 posts. As many channels as you can stomach (I'm doing 7 short-form platforms daily, with 1-2x per week as blog posts and YouTube longs.) Post your MAIN channel below if you'd like a little covering fire from fellow combatants. I'll be liking and commenting on your campaigns until we finish, so kindly do the same for your comrades so no one gets left behind. Here's my favorite platform: https://www.youtube.com/@Nick-Bandy/shorts Drop yours below, and let's do this!

Your embarrassing ChatGPT history
What's the weirdest thing you've asked AI? (without context) Just sent out an email with a bunch of "lost" ChatGPT chats that made me chuckle. I didn't even remember most of these: ✅ Baking Pancakes In Tray (the only way to make pancakes in bulk without spending 3 hours cooking) ✅ Greenland Purchase Benefits (a strategic no-brainer) ✅ Can 1 year olds eat liver (yes, but do they want to?) ✅ Singapore Walmart equivalent (none) ✅ Onomatopoeia for window (KER-THUNK) ✅ Dog ate apple core (not a big deal) ✅ Dog ate crab leg (not a big deal) ✅ Dog ate glove (probably fine…) ✅ Dog ate diaper (probably fine…) ✅ Dogs for snake catching (just in case it’s not fine…) ✅ Violent crime reduction plan (surprisingly simple. HINT: Arrest violent people.) ✅ Nickelback top singles (ALL of their songs were top singles) ✅ Nipple flow comparison ( 😏 ) ✅ Nipple leakage solutions ( 😏 ) ✅ Signs for larger nipple ( 😏 ) ✅ Uno Draw 2️⃣ Rules Lol... Anyway, what kind of bizarre stuff is sitting in YOUR AI chat history?

Hahaha these are great! Here are a few of mine: Kill stink bugs quickly, cumin-free taco seasoning, dog vomit stain removal, ice cream too liquid, beefy protein flavor fix, eliminating dog room odor, quick fixes for frizzy hair
How do you deal with negative feedback?
Imagine something doesn't go as planned with one of your clients. How do you handle it? Getting back on social media made me remember why so many people are scared to put themselves out there: Trolls. Here are a few hilarious comments I've gotten recently... "Dude you waffle so much, that's not how YouTube monetization works. Do your work you have nothing of value to add" says the guy with a profile picture of a tree who has never posted a video before. "NOBODY WANTS YOU'RE CRAP EMAILS" yes they do 😭 And my fav... "You have pointy ears like a goblin." It's easy to deal with these on social media--just delete the comments and block the user--but it's not so easy if your client makes fun of your pointy goblin ears and crap emails. So...what's a time you messed up...or your customer thought you did? What did you do to get out of that situation?

I'm with you, so much easier to deal with on social media. I'm looking forward to seeing what others have to say here for handling that type of negativity from a client. I'm inclined to say that if they're treating you that way, you don't want their money anyway.
