Planning for spring
At our meetup, some folks asked me about soil amendments and dealing with compaction to be able to start a new flower garden. I'll be diving into this and more questions live here in a few days. What’s one garden decision you’re feeling unsure about right now? Big or small. There’s no rush to resolve it, sometimes naming the question is the work. Feel free to share if you’d like.

I have a greenhouse built on a cement floor and we have two 8x4x2 galvanized beds on the cement. Any suggestion on what I put on the bottom before filling the beds? This is my first time planting this way. The slab was poured with an angle to drain.
Hi there!
Looks like I’m a western outpost for this group… please reach out if you’re interested in exchanging seeds

I came from the southeast (FL, GA) as well and struggled with planting here at first. Now I have a greenhouse at our new property so I hope be able to learn to grow year round! I learned early not to plant my gardens for food before Mother's Day here! 😉

Hello to all fellow garden friends! I live in Nunn on some acreage. We decided to downsize our home since we are empty nester and upsize our land while we could! My long term goal is to have a pumpkin patch. My short term goal is to start growing food to accommodate us for a little homestead in our greenhouse because it is a haul to go to the grocery store. I would like to be able to provide us with our own vegetables, herbs, etc. We also have goats, so I would like to learn about composting and how to utilize out land more if possible. We have 40 acres so we want to put some of it to good use.
