It's so popular right now! I've seen more than one creators add in videos about their growth to the rest of their content. But this kind of goes against the rules of sticking to your lane. Does anyone have an opinion about this? Has anyone added in one video a week or every other week talking about their YouTube journey?

Does anyone use Canva for editing and/or Thumbnails?

I know, it's Friday night, right now YT is my life! Don't worry, I spent the day with a dear friend shopping and having Lunch! This lesson confirms what I was hoping for. I have changed my tone in my videos, less teaching, more conversational. This change started with the videos I started posting in April. My goodness, I can see the change in engagement! The video I posted yesterday at 6pm, 24 hours later - 9.6% CTR! Highest Ever! AVD percentage 55.2%! I know this drops over time, but wow, the first 24 hours has been good! The other two videos posted in April, the numbers were in the 4.3% CTR and 42% AVD. Much better than the videos in March, average CTR 3.5% and average AVD 24%. Time will tell if the shifting to being more conversational and adding interesting B-roll is a real shift. I'm Amanda Harris. I live in the Texas panhandle. I teach practical spirituality principles and practices. In early March I really committed to one video per week. I joined a different community and took a course. Things were going really well, on March 29th, in a freak accident, I fell and broke off my arms. Feeling a little frustrated, but playing around with some short form content and more education in the meantime. The "broke arm story" is actually really good for my niche. As I'm feeling really grateful and resilient despite the injury. My follow-up with the surgeon is on Monday, April 20th, I'm hopeful I will be able to get back into my long form content.
