Feedback Please!
I have just published video 22 on my Gluten Free Cooking Channel on YouTube (wow that time has flown!) I would appreciate some feedback on the channel and video for how to make Gluten Free Scones. I have used - face intro, tripod, background music (original music which i wrote and played on my guitar) different camera angles, ingredients as text on screen (still no mic, just on the phone) and kids feedback at the end. I have also changed the thumbnail to include my face as well as the main YouTube banner as the channel has been pretty faceless until now and I belive having a face on thumbnails can help so I have given it a shot! Hey Chris, the scones look great. One thing I would keep in mind is even the simplest of things that you know, many people might not. Especially if they aren't from the places that make or eat the scones. I didn't even know exactly what they were. Also, some ingredients like the xanthan gum are unfamiliar to most people as to what it is and why you add that to your recipe. Finally, when you explain what a scone is, maybe some ideas as to variations. Like fruit, sweet, and other things people may do other than just the way you made them. Kevin

Small Win
My channel has only been active 1 week. I have 3 videos so far. I woke up to this message from YouTube this morning. I am grateful even for this small bit.

Sandra, as you know, I just found out Friday that I do not have lung cancer. So now I feel even more motivated to continue starting my channel even though I am 64. We'll keep talking.....

Do You Do You Script or Go Freestyle When Filming?
I’m curious, do you fully script your videos, make bullet points, or just talk freely? I’m testing what feels more natural and want to hear what works for you!

I just started my channel a couple of weeks ago with 4 videos. All 4 were kinda how to videos on a topic I'm very knowledgeable and passionate about so I didn't kneed scripts or bullet points. I'm planning on doing some just at my desk and will probably do bullet points.
