Running or in the gym is the only time I have to “read,” so I enjoy listening to audiobooks! I’ve also found that the leve of smut directly correlates with the speed at which I run 🤣
This week is about building strength and resilience that supports your running. Your challenge has three simple parts: 2 runs/walks, plyometrics, and balance/stability work. I'm giving you specific sessions to do. If you’re injured or easing back in, you can change the runs for walks. ✅ Rules 1. Complete at least two runs or walks this week. 2. Complete THIS SESSION of beginner plyometrics session (at least) once 3. Complete THIS SESSION for balance and stability (at least) once 4. Share proof or a short recap of all three in this thread. At the top of your comment, please say [RUN 1], [RUN 2], [BALANCE], [PLYO] to showcase each. 5. Everyone who completes all three parts will be entered into the weekly spot prize draw. 6. One winner will be chosen at random at the end of the week. 🎁 Prize: • EU / UK: 6-pack Huma Gels • US: 4x Precision Fuel and Hydration PF 30 Gels • Other locations: Prize will be arranged depending on location
[RUN 1] Did a quick run yesterday! My hip has been giving me some trouble, so this was a baby run to get back into it! First time commenting- excited to get involved!
@Kim Mollaert Just a little glute med strain. I’m working on improving my form and have learned that I tend to over stride. I’m working with my strength trainer to improve it…soon hopefully!
A warm welcome to our new members: @Rochelle Di Masi, @Ian Paul, @Nathan Webb, @Amanda Di Dio, @Alan Lovin, and @Flavio Percoco Please tell us down below what your favourite type of run is 💙 Trail, road, long, short, speed, easy?
@Caroline Claassen i started on a bit of a fitness journey back in September. I ran a 5k on December 6 just to prove to myself that I could do it! I ran another 5k in January, and I’m planning to do one each month this year. I’d love to run a longer race, but honestly, running is something that requires more time the better you get and I just don’t have time for long runs, unfortunately.
