Oops! Friday + Monday
Well, I missed posting a reminder to celebrate wins on Friday! So let's combine. Please share last weeks wins. Let's reflect a bit too. What didn't get done? And why didn't it get completed? And for today, let's jump start this week with a clear goal. What ONE money making thing will you focus on? Finish the last couple days of Q3 strong! For me, last weeks biggest win was not completely my own, but my daughter and son-in-law's. They had a healthy, happy baby boy! The whole pregnancy and birth was really uneventful and easy, and mama and baby are doing amazing. My heart is so full and I'm so blessed to get to love this little man and his parents. My husband and I got to see him shortly after he was born, we spent the night at their house with their pup while they were at the hospital, then we got to help them come home on Saturday. We also stayed that night with them for a little extra support. My heart is so full!! Today, I try to focus and get some work done. I've got two staging consultations tomorrow, and I'm working on a cool staging app. I'll also send my weekly email to my list. Then hopefully a couple days off and maybe another visit with the baby.

Wins: 2 recent stages already under contract, was invited to teach CE class to a brokerage + I created & scheduled social media content. Woohoo! Reflection: "eating my broccoli" - meaning that I have not yet completed designs for a design client. Procrastination. Moving forward this is not my "jam" - I will not accept design projects as I do not make profit because I am not charging enough & it eats up my valuable time. I am moving to quick design turnaround such as consultations only.

@Stephanie Breckbill - well, I'm actually great at it BUT I can make more money in the staging timeframe than design, at least in this capacity right now. If I can land clients that are willing to pay what I'm worth, then I'll consider it again (plus I need to get MY VALUE MINDSET in check)... I did update my design services to include quick turnaround projects, like consultations only. I think that's more appropriate and stays a bit more in the lane of "staging". Now, if I were to land a project for a vacation rental - that's a different beast with notable profit margins!💲 💫And I wanted to also recognize you on your life milestone - CONGRATS on the GRAND-BABE!!! Life will not be the same! Cheers to your growing family and may God pour his blessings onto you all!!!! xoxo 🥰

Wins! I did have some wins! 2 vacant properties I staged, which had been on the market for a while, went under contract just DAYS after being staged and new photos posted to MLS! YEAH! Then, an agent partner asked me to teach a CE class to their brokerage - SCORE! Even with my back hurting, these wins felt good!

My week was "off" to say the least. My lower back went out again and I was in pain for a few days. I still took a consultation and had a destage but I was able to get help with that. So I did not have any sort of routine this week - it was kinda Blah!

YES - schedule 2 social media posts to go out this week PLUS have the rest of the month lined out or beyond. The other big one is to have 2 or 3 CE classes scheduled for the months of October and November. NO - to negativity.

Revenue Generating... schedule my next CE class. It's not exactly revenue generating, however, each time I have taught or sponsored a class, I've gotten business at least 3x or more from what I put into the event. SO JUST DO IT! I always overthink... anyone else?
