I am new!
Hello Everyone. ๐Ÿ‘‹ My name is Alex. I am based in Lyon (France). I am new to this club and very excited to take part in conversations around facilitation and sharing tips and tricks to better engage our groups in trainings and workshops. I have started facilitating 5 years ago and boy! It has been a great journey where I found myself always learning and trying new things. It has been a blast but now I am ready to take it to the next level. This is why I am here. Looking forward to sharing with you... ๐Ÿ˜‰

@Claudia Spinelli Thanks for your post. I totally share the same experience here. Only the major compnies understand that paying for a facilitator is a big boost. I guess you idea of making it free could work to get some visibility, help people understand what it is and how it can help them. I was debating on doing the same here offering 45 minutes of coaching to talk about one problem people have in there job. I would target HR directors first and training managers (coming from the training world it is easier for me). It would be a great way to understand their issues and show what I can do in theses 45 minutes (rolling out an express LDJ session for example). I guess this is quite close to what you had in mind ? What do you guys think ?

@Marco Reber@Javier von Westphalen @Andra Stefanescu next level would be developing an offer dedicated to facilitation. Today my clients come to me to create trainings and to facilitate them. I would like to switch from 95 % of training to maybe 50 % to include more and more workshops in the mix. And for this I have the feeling that I need more methods and "recipies", so this is the direction I would like to take : upgrade my offer with strategic workshops.

I work in France as a facilitator, coach and consultant. Facilitating workshops and training is something I really enjoy doing.
