I like the one with arms crossed. The verbiage is more streamline to me . The verbiage is in line with minimalist.

Speaker Proposal Black Mental Health Virtual Conference Black Mental Health Virtual Conference 2026 Speaker Name: Alesia B. Duncan Title: Founder, Elevate You, LLC Email: alesia.dnc@gmail.com Phone: 757-218-2724 Proposed Session Title Renew Your Mind Early: Helping Youth Break Limiting Beliefs Before They Become Lifelong Barriers Format: Storytelling Target Audience: Trauma, Youth Health Session Description In this powerful storytelling session, I guide youth through two transformational narratives one of a five-year-old and one of a twelve-year-old that reveal how limiting beliefs form early and quietly shape identity, confidence, and emotional wellness. Through engaging storytelling and reflective moments, I help young people see how thoughts become internal agreements, how words spoken over them can either build or break them, and how renewing the mind can change the direction of their lives. Grounded in the principle of transformation through renewed thinking (Romans 12:2), I empower youth to identify false narratives, replace them with truth, and recognize the positive qualities and core values already within them. This is not just a talk. It is a mindset shift. It is identity restoration. It is early intervention through renewed thinking. Youth will leave knowing they are not their mistakes, not labels, and not what happened to them they have the power to Elevate. Learning Objectives By the end of this session, participants will be able to: - Identify limiting beliefs that may have formed in early childhood and recognize how those beliefs influence behavior and emotional health. - Understand the connection between thoughts and identity, and how repeated internal messages shape self-worth and confidence. - Recognize their personal core values and positive qualities, even in the midst of challenges. - Practice reframing negative internal dialogue using intentional, renewed thinking strategies. - Develop awareness of their power to choose new narratives that support mental wellness and future success.

Denied TEDx Talk...again!
They said no. Actually they sent a nice email that said, "After a careful review process, we unfortunately aren’t able to include your talk in this year’s program." What I heard was, "no"! Attached you will find 1 of 5 denial/rejection/NO emails that I received THIS MORNING from speaking applications I completed. It happens. Actually I get many more "NO" emails than I do, "YES" emails but that is part of the process. I have 5 today, but another 200+ plus that I could also show you. To be honest, I'm tempted to use this as a teaching moment and share how I bounce back, what I include in my response email, how to handle the rejection and not loose yourself... but I won't. Not today. Today, on behalf of all of my colleagues that like myself are always posting flyers of where we are speaking, recap videos of how great the events are that we attend, and selfies with celebrities and notables in fancy venues... I want to simply show you that we all also get NO EMAILS. I am told NO. Often. All applications we submit are NOT ACCEPTED. Everyone DON'T WANT ME to speak at their event. There are flights we DON'T TAKE and hotels I DON'T GET to check in. Today I'm sharing the otherside of the Speaking, Coaching, Ministry & Marketplace Coin. I and others always show you when we are HEADS up in the game... this is TAILS. Checkback tomorrow for the lesson in it all.

Mon March 9 - Coaching Call Recap - BREAD & Frameworks
Max Potential Coaching Corner Recap Last night in Max Potential Coaching Corner, we talked about how great coaches don’t just give advice they organize their wisdom into something people can remember and repeat. GET THE FULL CONVERSATION HERE with slide decks, graphics and greater explanation. That’s where the B.R.E.A.D. Method comes in, a simple way to turn your ideas into a brand, a message, and multiple income streams. The B.R.E.A.D. Method B – Build a simple structure for your message (principles, keys, habits, etc.). R – Reveal it through story so people discover the idea with you. E – Embed it everywhere in your brand, content, and presentations. A – Activate income streams through challenges, courses, coaching, and events. D – Dominate your niche through repetition and mastery. Key reminders from the call: - Repetition builds recognition - Boring is mastery - Stories help people remember your message - Serve value first (“the bread”) before the full offer - Be an inch wide and a mile deep in your niche When your idea is clear and repeatable, your audience becomes the carrier of your message. 🔥 Playmakers are action takers. Remember: People may forget what you say, but they remember what you organize. Make a Play: What is one idea or concept you want to turn into your signature message? GET THE FULL CONVERSATION HERE And get ready… because next month we’re diving into the B.U.T.T.E.R. Method — how to market and spread your message so it sells consistently. 🧈🚀
