Canadians injectors: Where are we purchasing our hyaluronidase? Everyone: What quantity do you keep in stock at all times?

Hi Jamila, I am interested in this answer also. I have a small clinic with two of us injecting. I keep three and the other injector keeps thee as well. I have been purchasing from York Downs.

When I first started injecting, I checked with my local pharmacist. Was told they were not able to get this in stock so I ordered from York Downs. It is pricy given that it expires in a short amount of time. I too would be interested to see if I am ordering enough. Thank you for asking your question :)
Medical Director/ taking on new Independent contractor
I’ve opened up a little Clinic and recently had somebody approach me to come on board. She’s agreed to transfer to me as their medical director. ( she would be my first.-gotta start somewhere). She’s only working part time as an inkector as she has a full time community nursing job. The eventual plan would be device training for her to use well with her own clients. I guess my question is -what are the different contracts to have that would be profitable for both of us and how do you figure out how much to charge the independent contractor for using a brand new renovated space in an ideal location? Right now, the short term plan is for her to pay half my rent as well as some type of fee for being her medical director. S
Devices Devices 🤔
Hi Dan and fellow providers, Do you still think RF microneedling is the best first device for a solo provider practice? If not, what would you recommend? I recently demoed Morpheus 8 and I was pleasantly surprised how comfortable the treatment was, but they numbed me for 1 HOUR 😳 (My appointment time for RF would be 90-120 minutes). Currently, my patient's concerns are: 1. Hyperpigmentation - IPL 2. Lower face heaviness (jolws and submental fullness) - RF 3. Fine lines and pores - Resurfacing More I look into devices and talk to reps from different companies, more confused I get 😵‍💫 Any guidance/recommendations? Thank you 🫶

I’ve also been looking at machines. One thing I learned from purchasing the one machine I have is..dont jump into something too quickly. Things to review would be: 1.review the concrete protocols for the machine. Actually see and discuss with Rep. 2. Determine what level setting has the effects you are seeing on the photos the Rep shows you ( some photos are at settings / downtime that majority of clients would not be able to tolerate ) 3. Length of time for treatment - as I am a solo practitioner, the machine I purchased takes at least 1 hour to complete start to finish including numbing and post care facemask ( and thats just for around eyes and mouth!) I did purchase the machine that presumably would get the most uptake with the clients I serve ( skin type/ age/ concerns) which helps choose the device. If anyone else has any pertinent questions to ask when purchasing, please add.

@Scarlett Duncan I leased the Tixel. I do like the machine but to treat a full face, neck, decollete, it takes about 2.5 hrs total - that includes numbing, treatment and post care. As I only have one treatment area and am a solo provider, thats a lot of time per client. The treatment protocols are not clear and the training videos thru the company were not as helpful as I thought they would be. I needed to search on the internet and ended up finding a you tube site from Novoxel ( the company). Good luck in your search. I’d be very interested in what you decide on and why. Also, are you going thru a leasing company or purchasing directly from the distributor. A few reps have discussed the benefit of leasing but being locked in longer term makes me a bit nervous - im old school regarding loans - pay off asap! Lol
