I also wonder if most injectors are purchasing from a community pharmacy, or if there is a Canadian online pharmacy that would be more economical.

You did the right thing and demonstrated the safety and professionalism that sets good injectors apart. What she calls a lack of confidence is actually your strong ethical standards. Imagine dealing with a complication from miles away with someone like her. Holding your boundaries and standards protected you as much as it protected her. Also, “from someone who gets filler/botox all over the country multiple times a year” is a red flag in my view. She clearly prioritizes convenience over safety and is being defensive, not constructive. If anything, her response validates your decision not to proceed. Trust in your knowledge and instincts and the right patients will stick around. Well done, you dodged a bullet ;)
