@Mike Garner what's your substack? I'm kicking one off this week

@Mike Garner I'll look out for it, thanks 👍
300 SUBS & TWO PAYING clients already!
@Ajayy Veda You don’t need a gazillion subs to start making money and building a business with YouTube, you just need to provide value and serve. Ajayy just took on his second paying client into his six month program with just over 300 subs. I want to emphasize this point - VIRALITY IS UNNECESSARY, SERVING IS. Show your audience you care and are able to help them and the rest will follow (and faster than you think) 🚀🙌

Epic video @Alexa Saarenoja, and I needed to hear the section on the language part too. I've definitely made the same unconscious mistake. I'm with you that it's simple but not easy, a phrase I find that comes up a lot in my group is that the ideal moat is hard work: it's the differentiator that helps those that do the work to stand out.

Launch, and publish at least 4 videos 💪
Hey Everyone! Let's Talk Deep Dive
I’m on a mission to publish one in-depth, no-stone-unturned deep dive video every week on my channel — breaking down the exact processes and systems that can help you grow your YouTube channel and your business (if that’s your goal). Right now, I’ve got a 1-hour masterclass on how to make $5K/month with YouTube in the hands of my editor, and today I’ve been working on a deep dive into email setup and email marketing so you can safeguard your subscribers off-platform. I’m also planning a full breakdown on how I got monetized in just 10 weeks. What topics do you want me to tackle next? Mindset, camera confidence, lead generation, coaching, community building, course creation… something else entirely? Drop your ideas and I’ll do my best to serve them up ASAP.

@Alexa Saarenoja I'd be really interested in content planning and how to create variations without being on repeat too much. I keep seeing Sunny Lenarduzzi's videos in my feed and I understand she's very successful at selling out her program, but pretty much all the videos are the same thing. I'm guessing the model is that new people find the videos and convert, but long term viewers don't seem to benefit from watching more than 2-3 of the videos because they almost all say they same thing. Any thoughts on this? The channel seems very light on actual education and almost exclusively focused on pushing the one (take them from zero to hero) journey idea.

@Chantal N That's really interesting feedback. I started the appointment booking process but I also teach sales and ethical influence so I was shocked at how bad the appointment setter behaved. A lot of implied shame, dismissive, you have to prove you qualify, yada, yada, yada. In the end I didn't book the call, then had a few texts trying to again create tension that I was somehow not good enough for them because I didn't immediately book. Not the greatest experience. A friend of mine had worked with her and her team directly (not through the general program, a very high-ticket, high-touch experience) and she's apparently amazing and the opposite of the experience I received from her sales function, so this is no criticism of her as an individual. But when people represent us, their behaviour will reflect on us and our brand. Some people seem to miss that 🤷‍♂️
