How to know what automation to build/sell ?
Hey guys, i was suffering from this problem--and many fellows here: CONTEXT : AI autmation space is very big and vague, you can build whatever you can imagine with n8n nodes, the question becomes what systems should i build and sell? ANSWER: Systems that they can add the most to revenu of a business. Think of Marketing automations (ex:cold email system), Spead to lead systems, Onboarding system, etc. These systems can easily justify the client's investement in the service you are providing. Because they have direct impact into the business revenu.

How to get your first 10 clients
In my last post, I got over 100 comments — and a common question came up: “How do I get my first clients?” I’ll share what worked for me, in the most practical way possible. I understand — but honestly, getting started is simpler than it seems. Begin with your closest network: friends, your parents’ friends, uncles, anyone who runs a business or can connect you to someone who does. Make a list. Then reach out to these people — not to pitch a solution, but just to listen. Ask a simple question: “What are the biggest challenges you’re facing in your business today?” After listening, ask one more key question: “If you could solve just one of these problems today, which one would bring the most return — either by cutting costs or increasing revenue?” At the end of the day, that’s what every business owner truly cares about: lowering expenses or growing revenue. Talk to at least 3 business owners like this and you’ll start to see your niche take shape — based on real needs, not guesses. From there, here’s what I recommend: 1. Don’t get stuck in the learning loop. It’s normal to spend time downloading templates, testing tools like n8n, watching tutorials... but nothing beats doing a real project. You’ll learn more in one client delivery than in 10 YouTube videos. 2. Don’t worry too much about choosing the “perfect” niche. Start where you have access or some knowledge — even if it’s basic. Use real conversations to find a common pain. That pain defines your niche. 3. Don’t offer a pre-made solution. Listen first. Ask the two questions above. Then think: “How can I solve this specific problem with AI or automation?” 4. Don’t try to sell before you’re clear on four things: * Your niche * Your ICP (Ideal Customer Profile) * The main pain * Your solution to that pain 5. Your first project can be free — and that’s ok. Do it to learn. Deliver. Measure the result. That first delivery gives you confidence and a story to tell. 6. Then, choose one channel — not many.

What a nice bearkdown @Rodrigo Santos ! i would add something that i found extremly helpful and solves 90% of beginners's problems: Applying on Upwork jobs. Just research for 'Automations' on Upwork and start reading and learning business's needs and problems on their posts, try your best to solve those problems. You learn significantly more than watching ai automation tutoriels. Hope that help!

😨How to ACTUALLY build trust?
Yooo, Pepijn here! I get this question a lot in this community, so let me just answer it right here, right now. How do we actually build trust towards our: leads, prospects or whatever you want to call them. There are actually 3 main things I always keep in mind, and those are: --> Upfront x Transparency --> Effort x Dedication --> Expertise Let me break them down for you Upfront x Transparency This is where we want to do the following things: 1. Offer mentioning before or at the start of a call 2. Price mentioning, if someone asks for the price, just give it, don't try to talk your way out of it 3. DM goal mentioning. Be upfront about what you want from a DM. If you want to sell him something, just say that!! Effort x Dedication These are the three main pillars for that: 1. Free value, give as much free value as you can and remember that people buy for: implementation, action, and accountability 2. Personalisation. Make everything as personal as humanly possible. Make sure you put some effort and thought in your messages to show that you truly care about the person 3. Caring + Connections. Again, make sure you truly care about them and show that by doing everything on order to help them and build true human connections Expertise These 3: 1. Positioning, how do you position yourself on: social media, and in calls, dms etc 2. Profile optimisations. Make sure you optimise your profiles to... 3. Be the authority figure Thats it, I also broke it down in a quick presentation These pillars made me close a €3k deal at 16yo old, and generated my 16yo client €4k in 40 days! Feel free to watch it WATCH HERE

Excellent break down for this principles @Pepijn Verheijen , wouldn't be more effective if you present giving value first then your goal (selling, pitching, etc) second. Thank would more effective
