😹How to ACTUALLY build trust?
Yooo, Pepijn here! I get this question a lot in this community, so let me just answer it right here, right now. How do we actually build trust towards our: leads, prospects or whatever you want to call them. There are actually 3 main things I always keep in mind, and those are: --> Upfront x Transparency --> Effort x Dedication --> Expertise Let me break them down for you Upfront x Transparency This is where we want to do the following things: 1. Offer mentioning before or at the start of a call 2. Price mentioning, if someone asks for the price, just give it, don't try to talk your way out of it 3. DM goal mentioning. Be upfront about what you want from a DM. If you want to sell him something, just say that!! Effort x Dedication These are the three main pillars for that: 1. Free value, give as much free value as you can and remember that people buy for: implementation, action, and accountability 2. Personalisation. Make everything as personal as humanly possible. Make sure you put some effort and thought in your messages to show that you truly care about the person 3. Caring + Connections. Again, make sure you truly care about them and show that by doing everything on order to help them and build true human connections Expertise These 3: 1. Positioning, how do you position yourself on: social media, and in calls, dms etc 2. Profile optimisations. Make sure you optimise your profiles to... 3. Be the authority figure Thats it, I also broke it down in a quick presentation These pillars made me close a €3k deal at 16yo old, and generated my 16yo client €4k in 40 days! (and girls) 🌍PART 1: My business/purpose story Yo, okay, so here's my story regarding business and my purpose, alright. So back in the day, it was November 2024, I remember the exact date, it was actually 31 October 2024. I joined a coaching, a coaching regarding dropshipping, e-commerce, it was more the brand and dropshipping side, but I realized soon enough that obviously it was cool, I made some money, I made like 10k in revenue, but I noticed that it was not that fun to pursue, it was never really fun to actually make money with this business model. The way you actually made money was you go on Facebook ads library, you look for competitors and their ads, you look for winning products you copy the competitor with the text, the whole product description, you copy their ads, you copy their ad copy, all those type of things, right, and then eventually you place the ad online, and then yeah, you know, then you hope that you may get some sales out of it. It was never really fun, it was never really something I could see myself doing for the next, yeah, the next 10 years, and I was always telling myself whilst doing this dropshipping, oh yeah, this is just a startup to start a brand, e-commerce brand eventually, that's what literally everyone in the coaching told, by the way

Connections this, connections that. Okay cool, but what type of connections are you talking about Pepijn? I am talking about normal connections, the ones you build with your family and friends, remember? Ahhh, Okay, cool but business is something else, right? Not quite, let me explain. If I were to ask you a very very simple question regarding business that states: ‘’Who buys from you?’’ you would have to answer: ‘’People’’. Exactly my point. You see, we see business in a completely wrong way, we see it in a way of talking to people that only talk about business. This is completely wrong. You are still talking to real human beings. You are still building a connection with people to eventually let them buy from you. And no, this connection is not built by talking about how good your product or service is. It is built by genuinely caring about the person in front of you and being able to talk about other stuff besides that, okay.
