What’s Missing in Perfumery?
As I continue my journey in perfumery, I’m always thinking about different scent profiles. What hasn’t been explored enough, what deserves more attention, and what could be reimagined in a new way. So I’d love to hear from you all: What are some scents you wish were used more in fine fragrance? Maybe you love the smell of rain on hot pavement and wish more fragrances captured that mineral, ozonic vibe. Maybe you think roasted sesame or fresh-baked bread would make an interesting gourmand. Or maybe there’s a particular wood, resin, or floral that you think gets overshadowed by more common notes. What are some smells you’d love to see take center stage in perfumery?

"The Power of Scent: Your Invisible Signature"
Your scent is more than just a fragrance—it’s your invisible signature. The right perfume can boost confidence, leave a lasting impression, and even trigger deep emotions in others. But how do you find your signature scent? 1. Know Your Preferences – Do you love fresh, floral, woody, or spicy notes? Test different fragrances to see what resonates with you. 2. Understand Your Chemistry – Perfumes react differently on each skin. Always try before you buy! 3. Occasion Matters – A light citrus scent is perfect for daytime, while rich, musky notes shine at night. 4. Layering is Key – Combine scented body lotions or oils with your fragrance for a long-lasting effect. What’s your signature scent, and how does it make you feel?

New to the stable.
So, I snagged Banana Republic's Tobacco & Tonka after @George Hernandez mentioned Metal Rain as his SOTD. His description of the bran intrigued me. Probably won't get to wear it much 'til it gets cold again. First sniff on paper? Definitely more masculine , you get that tobacco and plum right off the bat. But the dry-down? Way more unisex, like a really nice, sweet vanilla. They say it's got plum, pear, tobacco, coconut, tonka, and vanilla. I don't get any coconut at all. Plum and tobacco in the start, vanilla and tonka later. Can't say how long it lasts or how far it throws yet. But yeah, I'm happy with it.

New grab…
Just couldn’t help myself 🙄. These damn burlingtons got my number down pact. Figured since I always see love for this scent, and already have and love the original khamrah, it only made sense to grab this one too right😏. First sniff seems very familiar though 🤔, and has me thinking I just bought the same scent as the original. That’s how close they are but only as it exits the atomizer, then After a few seconds that coffee note punches right through making a solid distinction. However I’m not sure how long it’s going to stick around before returning to just plain old khamrah 🫤, which is great but do I need two bottles of the stuff. I’ll post a full wear tmrw and see how it plays out throughout the work day. Otherwise, for $35 it’s definitely worth the price and undoubtedly smells great. Anyone have any more insight into this fragrance? Much appreciated. Smell great frag fam.
