Coaching Stoppages
When I have to jump into an exercise to help players out, I always take a second to consider what is happening on the ball, around the ball, and away from the ball. As an example: The CB *on the ball* has 7 options available, with 5 *around the ball*. She may play it across to the GK, who then wants to play it into space for the LM to run onto (Away from the ball*). The LM may want to cross for the ST after this So you have: - CB has to pass to the back foot of the goalkeeper with pace so she can play the ball into space in front of the LM in 2 touches - LM needs to run into space - St needs to make the correct run - The crossing technique needs to be correct - Finishing technique needs to be correct A lot of variables! So if any of the actions break down, when you stop the game to correct it, consider what is happening on, away, and around the ball. Otherwise, you may find yourself stopping the action multiple times to fix breakdowns in the same phase of play. When you are coaching in a stoppage, what are your key points?

Well explained, otherwise we concentrate around the ball, leaving other side. Thanks for this key.
