McKinsey & Company released their full 2025 AI report last week
AI is moving fast—$4.4 trillion in productivity potential fast. But here’s the catch: only 1% of companies have reached AI maturity. McKinsey’s latest 2025 AI report reveals something critical: the AI skill gap is wider than we thought. Nearly every company is investing in AI, yet: • Only 1% believe they’ve achieved true AI maturity • 92% plan to increase AI investments over the next 3 years So, what’s holding them back? The data shows a clear disconnect: • 47% of employees expect AI to transform 30% of their work this year • But just 13% actually use AI for most daily tasks • 87% of leaders expect AI to drive revenue growth within 3 years • Yet 48% say AI training is critical, and half receive little to no support Why does this matter if you’re selling AI solutions? Because AI isn’t the problem—adoption is. Companies are pouring money into AI tools but neglecting the foundation: skills, training, and cultural readiness. This is the gap you can solve. When you pitch AI, don’t just focus on the tech. Highlight how you’ll help clients: • Bridge the skill gap with practical adoption strategies • Drive real ROI through effective implementation • Future-proof their growth with scalable solutions The organisations that get this right will dominate their industries. So, how are you positioning your AI offering to address this? 👉 Read the full McKinsey report here (also attached)!

What the hell is a Grok? 🤨💭
Over the past year, it feels like mega tech companies have been churning out AI models left, right, and centre—making it hard to keep up! Like many, I haven’t had the time (or need) to try them all, but what I do know is that each has its own strengths, use cases, and ideal scenarios. The real magic happens when you combine these tools. Perplexity, for example, is great for sweeping the web for real-world insights on specific topics, while ChatGPT excels at pulling that information together and formatting it into a well-written blog post. 📹 I've included a video below showing ChatGPT and Grok working together to fact-check ChatGPT’s results. ChatGPT takes feedback from Grok and adjusts its responses accordingly. Cool, right? If you're curious about where to find, install and leverage this tool, pop me a DM and we can get you set-up! #AISkillGap #AIEducation #AIAgility

Did ChatGPT just kill the AI Agent creation platforms? 💣
This is truly a groundbreaking development. For the sake of the post I'll stick to the practical side. ChatGPT just dropped a new feature called Tasks 📝 - and it lets you automate actions inside ChatGPT with zero technical skills. It’s basically your personal AI agent, now available to everyone. Here’s how powerful it is: 🌟 Choose GPT-4o with scheduled tasks. 🌟 Give it a task: “Search Quora for trending questions about AI in marketing. Summarise key content angles and send them to me every Monday at 9 AM.” 🌟And just like that, you get fresh content ideas delivered straight to your inbox - on schedule. Think about what this allows you to do: 👉 Automated audience research, no extra tools 👉 Consistent content ideas, hands-free 👉 Insights on autopilot, zero manual work This is much more than “tasks and reminders”. And that’s just one use case. This feature is only limited by your creativity. The agent era of ChatGPT has arrived. What’s the first Task you’d automate? https://www.theverge.com/2025/1/14/24343528/openai-chatgpt-repeating-tasks-agent-ai

@Azat Yerzhan I admit, the title was a little click-baity. Totally agree with both of you.
The opportunity to bridge the AI skill gap is rife - focus there!
The launch of the UK AI Opportunities Action Plan is a welcome step forward in ramping up safe and effective AI adoption across the UK. Excited to be part of the momentum this will generate, with all 50 measures being rolled out. Here’s what stood out to me: ➡️ A recognition of the AI skills gap and a concerted effort to grow AI talent. ➡️ Creation of a National Data Library and focus on Data Assets with the identification of 5 high-impact curated datasets to drive innovation. ➡️ Building on the Scan > Pilot > Scale approach to drive re-use across organisational boundaries. This will be key, from what I have experienced deploying AI to drive efficiency across government in recent months. ➡️ A faster AI procurement process, recognising the need to be agile, moving quickly to rapidly prototype and spin-up pilots in high-impact areas. Having been closely involved in piloting and scaling AI tools within Government, this change is long overdue and already blocking progress in high-value areas. ➡️ Establishment of AI Growth Zones and scaling of UK Compute Capacity. ➡️ Regulator-driven acceleration of AI use with proportionate, pro-innovation, and contextual assurance and governance. The full plan can be found here, and is well worth a read. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/ai-opportunities-action-plan/ai-opportunities-action-plan#lay-the-foundations If you’re looking to learn more about creating engaging, practical workshops backed by real-world data, catchy frameworks, and visual, interactive techniques, pop me a message. I’d love to help bring these sessions to life for your AI agency or team.
Workshop Creation Opportunity: UK announces huge public rollout of AI
The three words associated with AI by the British public are “robot”, “scary”, and “worried”. 😟 This Guardian article highlights a MASSIVE opportunity to support smaller, less technical UK organisations in bridging the AI skill gap. It's all about helping people to understand that AI isn’t something to be frightened of, but something that can be harnessed to foster growth, free up time for creativity and strategic thinking, and ultimately stay in the competition. Yes, there will be privacy concerns. Yes, there will be over-reliance. Yes, there will be access disparity. Yes, there will be misinformation proliferation. Yes, there will be mistakes. There have already been many—I’m not denying that. But similar concerns were prevalent during the digital revolution, and look where we are today! Like it or not, this technology isn’t going away. It’s already right in front of us. You can either choose to reach out and grab it or risk being outpaced. If you're interested in creating your own engaging workshop, packed with activities and delivered in a practical and accessible way, reach out and we'll get something arranged! #AISkillGap #AIRevolution #AIAgility https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2025/jan/12/mainlined-into-uks-veins-labour-announces-huge-public-rollout-of-ai?utm_term=6784a156150429e2860f3dd3e3f96018
