Looking for some feedback
Hey ya'll! I've had this one sitting around for a while but have been stuck with getting some vocals on it. I did one pass but never really liked how my vocals sounded so I've kept it just as an instrumental for the time being. It was based on a brief looking for a murder mystery podcast/True Detective feel. Any thoughts or ideas on what direction to go?

@Glenn Macrae Yeah I was definitely going for sad bastard/Tom Waits with my take so good to know I was on the right track. Definitely open to hearing the production notes when you have the time!

@Glenn Macrae I like the piano and accent parts in the song and am pretty happy with the drums. I would definitely love to replace some of the midi sounds with actual instruments though. Especially the guitars.

I am always getting stuck in the spot of “this track is close but it is missing one element I can’t figure out yet”. So it gets left in demo status and never cleaned up. And then I doubt myself on the master aspects so I start a new beat or song because that’s the fun part. I just need to push myself more to get through to work part.
