Latin style beat
What’s going on everyone, it’s been a while since I posted anything and I wanted to share something interesting with you all. This is a lot different than what I was previously making. However I love it, I had a conversation a while back that helped me change my view on sync. What I came to realize is I didn’t necessarily need to change who I am and what I create. So today I’m presenting a Latin style beat that I produced. If you all would be so kind to leave me some honest feedback. My biggest question for you all is do you believe it is sync ready? Why or why not? I made this a little different than a traditional beat it doesn’t have a normal song structure on purpose. I still plan to work on some cinematic projects but for now I want to focus on what I can get done now. So I can build my catalog. Hope you enjoy. Key questions: does it fit the style of music I was trying to convey. Still a little new to this genre and I feel like it may be missing a few elements. Based on your experience is this ready to pitch to a sync libary? How are the dynamics, does it need more “space” or spots with no noise? One of my biggest concerns with this is the flute melody is there anyway I could improve it, or does it fit? I was trying my best not to over complicate it. Finally, how does the mix sound? I have done some basic eq and very little effects it sounded good to me. However I would love to hear your thoughts on it. https://s.disco.ac/lyyeoxtjqmiw

Feedback for Folk? Americana? Ish?
Hey everyone! Hoping to receive some feedback for a track I produced for my husband's band! This is my first time working on a song that isn't written by me since learning so much in the Sync Accelerator Program, so I'd like to see what other things I may be able to improve on working in other genres! https://s.disco.ac/aktdjrplbjvu Some notes: -It's a three piece band: two guitars (sometimes a banjo, but for this song it's two guitars) an upright bass, and male vocals -Not mixed yet because I'd like to see what suggestions you have before starting the mixing process. -I just noticed some background noise at the very end of the track. It's not intentional and will be removed haha. -References/inspirations of the band are Poor Man's Poison and Amigo the Devil. I included some Youtube videos below in case ya'll want to listen! Questions: -What genre would you consider this? The band is having a hard time categorizing themselves because they are unsure what people would consider this.
Where can I take these?
Now that @Glenn Macrae got me straight on how to present….. https://s.disco.ac/qqvfuwfhcszg This particular playlist is just a few HIP HOP tracks, Idea’s and some I would like to consider for possible sync…your feed back is appreciated.
Disco playlist feedback
Here are some hiphop beats ive made. For a breif stint i worked with hip hop aritsts. None of these are with any other arists so clearing them should be easy. Is there such a thing as too many tags? Should playlists be named by genre or mood of the songs? Any feedback helps thank you! https://s.disco.ac/zdxguvdydosz
Got yer ears on?
I've written a piece that's kinda quirky. I didn't want to write a classic 12-bar blues. I wanted to go outside the box (my box, anyway). So I did this semi-folky, 12-bar blues with all kinds of weird, disparate sounds for percussive effect. The bridge is something I'm patenting as 'disco-blues'. YOUR JOB, (SHOULD YOU DECIDE TO ACCEPT IT) is to tell me if I've left the box entirely. Should I bring it back in? What else bothers you? Mind you, it's still a demo. But I think I like the form. I plan to add a real female voice and then lead acoustic guitar riffs throughout. Interesting note: I wanted this to be a female voice. So, I sang it and had AI convert it for a woman's voice. At 1:35 there's a word that AI could not figure out. So it made up what it *thought* the lyric was. Then it made up a word that rhymed just after. What do you like? But more importantly, what do you dislike? https://youtu.be/-kV3IxUvVHE
