Remarkable achievement!
I had to de digitization from my life.
Good evening ladies and gentlemen, I have been working getting away from too much digital in my life. The average person checks their phones 144 times a day, that is you spend 3.5 month a years checking your phone, and that is just checking not using it. And when you are at work and you stop working to check your phone they say it takes 23.5 minutes to refocus. In the average person checks their phone 15 times in a hour which means they are actually productive 15 minutes out of the whole hour of working. Now I am not saying totally away from everything like off the grid type but to limit the amount of digital use that I use. One of the main things is using my cellphone to run my life. I bought a pocket notebook and I began to use this. Now in just a week I was amazed how my life has changed. Because I am not focused on my cellphone for everything. Using a notebook has made me focused on task because when I am writing things down I am actually focusing on the details, before when I used my iPhone I would just make a note and most of the time I would not even go back and look at it, so this was ineffective. Plus I was not detailed I would just make a note. But now when I make a note, my notebook is right on my desk I see it and I remember to go and look to see if I am on track or if I am missing anything. But the biggest thing I can open my notebook look and go back to work and as before I would end up looking at emails, text, or maybe see some notifications and start looking at those. Point is I would get distracted and loose focus. But the biggest thing that happened since the switch to analog notebook is this. I was talking to a potential client and they were expressing some thins to me. As I was listening I said “ let me make a note of this, “ and I took out my notebook and began to write some notes down. And this person was like, “ you actually are writing these things down on paper?” I said yes I prefer to use paper and pen. They were so impressed that I was using this system and actually said that they were flattered that I felt their concerns were so important that I would hand write them down. I actually got that contract on the spot because they felt that I made them feel special by taking the extra time to write their concerns down by hand giving them a sense of importance, ease of mind knowing that I was actually concerned.

Your rousing endorsement of the analog life called to mind — with a certain uncomfortable clarity — an infamous affair in Bologna involving His Grace, a minor Italian royal, and the less minor matter of her husband returning unexpectedly to their suite at the Grand Hotel Majestic. One would have made a clean escape, had it not been for the ill-timed ping of a message from one’s club in London, reminding him of the outstanding balance on his account. Quite unnecessary information at 3:14 a.m., and most disruptive to the flow of what had, until that point, been a rather successful clandestine engagement. Rene
Dressing as a gentleman of 1600s Stuart England
Greetings, gentlemen, Should one ever have contemplated a perennial question of refinement—namely, how a gentleman, such as our intrepid Lord Belhume (@Rene Belhume)of Stuart England prepared himself for court—this presentation offers a fitting answer. The accompanying video delineates the essential elements of courtly attire: cane, periwig, pumps, hose, and the sturdy undershirt upon which all elegance rests. Here we are instructed in the manners and vestments befitting the reign of His Majesty King Charles I, wherein dignity, proportion, and cultivated restraint converge. Such attire does not merely clothe the body, but orders the man himself, revealing what remains possible when elegance, discipline, and courtly grace are taken seriously. Cheers

His Grace has always felt - as the Count Rostov says - that “it is the business of the times to change, and it is the business of gentlemen to change with them”.
Making the best
Good evening gentlemen, We all on this journey want the best that we can get in our clothes, aesthetics, accessories, and unfortunately sometimes they are beyond our means. So what do you do? Do you give up? Do you just hold off changing until you can afford to get what you want? No not at all. See so many influencers and creators want you to buy whatever their sponsors have them promote. This could be clothes, aesthetics fragrances, whatever they are promoting yes they wear them but they are being donated to them. Here is the deal, you can and will look just and sharp and clean with times that you buy from a less expensive place or even from a thrift store. What matters is what you do with what you buy and how you maintain what you have. Shoes, keep them polished and if in in-climate weather wear some shoe galoshes over them especially in heavy rain or snow. Jewelry buy some jewelry cleaner and keep your jewelry clean from dirt, grime, and the natural salt from your body. Your shirts, pants, suits, keep them clean and fresh. Keep in mind the more you wash your clothes such as jeans, shirts, the more they break down. Think about this where does the lint in the dryer come from ? It’s from your clothes breaking down in the wash and in the dryer. So the more you wash them the more they break down, so should you walk around musty? No, invest in a clothes steamer and a iron. A steamer will refresh your clothes and take out 98% of the bacteria and odors from your clothes without breaking down your clothes. ( you should only wash your jeans, pants, shirts, only when they have stains, or they start to hold a smell and need to be washed.) Now in the summer time if you are wearing dress shirts and their is a ring around the collar, that is different), but if when you take them off and there is no stains you can run a steamer over them and they will ready for the next day. pants same thing unless they are stained or they have a serious odor after several wears and being steamed yes throw then in the washer or take then to the cleaners. If you iron your shirts and pants iron them, it will give them nice clean crisp crease's and when you steam them in between washes you help keep that crease. Suits you should only have to take them to the cleaners at least one every season. If you steam your suits after you take them off and or before you put them on, you will keep the fresh smelling and help keep the creases.

One of the best posts we’ve had for a while. If I may be so bold as to offer one further recommendation to the gentleman’s regimen, a modest practice which, though simple, bears considerable fruit: Let each man carve out twenty minutes in the evening — as part of his wind-down ritual — to attend quietly and without haste to the preparation of his attire for the morrow. Establish a dedicated space: a valet stand, a chest of drawers, a well-lit corner of the room. Lay out the shirt. Press the trousers. Brush the lapel. Steam the linen. Polish the shoes. Affix the cufflinks. Do it in silence, or to the strains of a little Mahler if one is feeling decadent. Then — and here is the miracle — one awakes not into chaos or indecision, but into calm command. The day begins not with rummaging, but with resolve. As the Duke of Wellington once said: “The battle is won the night before, by the man who has laid out his socks and polished his boots.” Rene

📦Boxing Day📦 After the holiday rush, use this time to unwind, bond with family and friends, indulge in leftovers, or hit the stores for discounts. Celebrated in the United Kingdom on the day after Christmas Day, Boxing Day is a public holiday that is a day of rest and relaxation, and is traditionally a time when people exchange gifts and visit friends and family. In modern times, Boxing Day has become a popular time for sporting events, and for shopping and sales. So, if you’re in the UK on Boxing Day, be sure to kick back and enjoy some time with loved ones, maybe catch a sporting event or do some shopping, and maybe even participate in some charitable giving if you’re feeling particularly festive! 📦History of Boxing Day📦 The exact origins of Boxing Day are somewhat unclear and there are several theories about its origin. One theory is that the day was named after the custom of giving gifts to the poor, which was traditionally done the day after Christmas. This practice was known as “boxing” the gifts, as the gifts were often placed in boxes or alms boxes that were placed in churches for the purpose of collecting donations for the poor. Another theory is that Boxing Day was originally a holiday for servants and tradespeople, who would receive a “Christmas box” from their employers on the day after Christmas. These boxes would typically contain gifts, money, and other treats, and were given as a way of thanking the servants and tradespeople for their hard work throughout the year. A third theory is that it has its roots in ancient pagan traditions and was originally a celebration of the winter solstice. In this theory, the day was seen as a time of renewal and was marked with gift-giving and other festive traditions. Despite the uncertainty surrounding its origins, Boxing Day is now a popular holiday in the United Kingdom and is celebrated with a variety of traditions, including gift-giving, and taking advantage of the many high-street store’s annual “Boxing Day Sales”.

We’ve only got the one Premier League game this year for some reason, whereas as you say, it was normally a day of watching sport with family in the UK with all the teams playing whilst recovering from the indulgence of Christmas Day and eating reheated leftovers. Often it was the best day!
