How is everyone?
What's up OC fam!? I know, I know...it's been a while. The past couple months have been insanely busy (but all good things). I wanted to check in with all of you and see how everyone's doing. What's been going on in your world? What are the core things you're currently struggling with right now? Let's see if we can collectively come up with some workshops or short sprints to help problem solve and remove some bottlenecks. Get you guys to whatever that next place or level is in your business. I'd love to hear from all of you. Drop a comment below and let me know: 1. What's your biggest win from the last few months? 2. What's your biggest struggle right now? 3. What would be most helpful for me to focus on in upcoming workshops? Hope everyone is thriving 🙌🏼. — Jay

1. hosted the cozy cave 2. outreach to the right client (I've had a lot of meetings). 3. Loved the book clubs. I would like to do that again. Anything about how to find the right kind of buyer or how to qualify a potential client would be helpful to me.

@Jay Tiff Thank you for the info on right buyers. I would like to learn more about your training. Cozy Cave is teaching me a lot. I look forward to see what you create next.

You are so welcome! You were the best person to kick off the series. You did a great job and I know this is just the first of many. Thank you for showing up authentically and enthusiastically.
🔥Kick A** Resources
1. The OutKast Collective Email copy bot -Step by Step made for you, and your business 🧑🏽‍🍳😘 This helped get my voice and brand in that copy. It also came at the right time. Right after I had fixed the holes in my foundation. I have learned a lot from Jay, besides setting a strong foundation for clarity and functionality. (Sounds more logical, but we can overlook this basic concept) The timing of the information, and that it stacks, this gave me so much peace when I embraced it. That I pass on to my clients, because I show them that they can trust the process. 2.Those Many Chat Flow Templates 😯🔥🤯 Thank you, Thank you Jay! and I just got to them tonight, I cannot wait to implement them. Honestly these are only 2 of the many resources Jay has created that make coaching easier, and fun again. I am off to play with a bot that shows me how to build a better hook, also curated by Jay. I've been quiet, because like most of you in here we are doing and building. I just wanted to show some love, and if you're on the fence, don't be you're in good hands. What Outkast Collective tools have saved your butt, or sanity :D ?

The webinar info and structure. That is what helped me get out the dark and move towards clarifying my offer.

@Jay Tiff Thank you for the positive feedback. Not sure how it is going to go but it is good practice on getting out there.
OC Book Club (Obviously Awesome) Chapter 3
Happy Saturday OC Fam! Let’s dive into Chapter 3 of Obviously Awesome (April Dunford). This chapter is all about putting your positioning into action. Making sure it’s not just a statement on paper, but something that runs through your whole business. The Key Points: 1. Build the Story: Take the positioning work you’ve done and turn it into a simple, clear story your audience understands immediately. 2. Keep It Consistent: Every touchpoint matters. Your content, sales calls, and delivery should all reinforce the same story. 3. Iterate Over Time: Positioning isn’t one-and-done. As your niche or market shifts, adjust and realign. What this means for coaches: - If your positioning isn’t showing up in your content and how you sell, then you don’t really have positioning. - The clearer and more consistent your story is, as well as your unique point of view the easier it is for clients to see you as the only choice for them. Key takeaway: Positioning only works if you live it across your entire business. When every part of your brand tells the same story, clients are already bought in before they talk to you. Community Question: Where do you currently feel most out of alignment with your positioning right now? Content, sales, or delivery?

Sales is my next area to "take on the road." I am working on adding it to may sales process. It is very much a work in progress.

Delivery. I'm just starting to put all the pieces together and customer experience is important. I want my clients to come back for the right reasons and I want to build a list of clients that are the right clients for my offer.
OC Book Club (Obviously Awesome) Chapter 2
Happy Friday OC Fam! Let’s jump into Chapter 2 of Obviously Awesome (April Dunford). This chapter breaks down the 5+1 components of effective positioning — the pieces you have to nail so your dream clients instantly see you as the obvious choice. The 5+1 Components: 1. Competitive Alternatives – What would your audience do if you didn’t exist? (And no, it’s not always “hire your competitor.”) 2. Unique Attributes – The specific things you offer that no one else does. 3. Value (with Proof) – Why those attributes matter, backed up with tangible evidence. 4. Target Market Characteristics – The exact type of person who will see the most value in your product/offer and buy the fastest. 5. Market Category – The space or category you place yourself within so people instantly “get” what you do. 6. Relevant Trends (optional) – Only if there’s a legit trend that strengthens your positioning. What this means for coaches: - If you can’t clearly list your unique attributes and why they matter, you’re just blending in with every other coach on the internet. - At it's core, positioning is about making it obvious you’re the only right choice for your prospects. Key takeaway: When these 5+1 components are clear, your content, offers, and sales all work better because your audience already understands your value before they talk to you. Community Question: Looking at these 5+1 components, which one do you feel is your weakest right now — and what would change in your business if you nailed it?

This book has me really reshaping how I think about what I'm doing. I have to spend way more time doing market research. Looking at other people testimonials and trying to see how I fit in. Number 3 is the place where I struggle the most. It has prompted me to ask for beta testers everywhere I go now. If I'd have changed it I would feel much more confident selling to anyone and everyone. Right now, I can only say it works in theory.
