Designer Logo vs. No Logo
Hey everyone, I have a question for you. When I met my neighbor today in front of our house, I noticed she had a Louis Vuitton bag. Why did I notice it? Because the LV logo was all over it. I know this lady well - it was definitely authentic. I also recently noticed an LV scarf on someone whose clothing style I really admire. I looked up the price: new costs 400 EUR, secondhand still 200-250 EUR. A similar scarf without the logo? Often below 100 EUR. I'd like to hear your opinion about designer clothing and these famous logos. First, it's definitely a display of wealth - but only when it's authentic. Another aspect is that it can backfire. People might assume it's fake, that you're trying to look rich. And this happens whether the piece is original or actually fake. The third aspect is the actual value. How much would I pay for that LV bag without the logos? 50-100 EUR tops, instead of the 1,500 EUR for the original. You might say we dress for ourselves, which is absolutely right. But we also dress to create a first impression in those crucial first seconds. So my question is: when does it make sense to wear clothing or accessories from major brands that everyone recognizes?"

I don't like logos; I think they are for insecure people who want to attract attention. If you look at brands associated with quiet luxury, such as Brioni, Laro Piano, Santoni, their logos are barely noticeable or absent on the outside, but their products are worn by successful and influential people.

As for me It’s a grey color. Grey is the most versatile colour, it has many shades, so it goes well with other colours.
Suit Fitment
I got this 3 piece suit from Joseph A Bank, ordered it a month ago, went and got it altered there and my one concern was the shoulder fitment. The gentleman helping me said that steaming it would help and it would settle. So I paid for the suit, waited for the jacket in the size he said I needed to come in, then I went back to get it fitted for alterations. I paid a little under $400 for the suit and then $112 for the alterations. I took it home, steamed the shoulders and as I guessed that did not fix the issue. The shoulders extend past my natural shoulders which causes it to crease like shown in the images. I am now taking it back tomorrow for them to look and see what can be done. What should I expect going in? I need the suit for a wedding for next weekend. Again I went in there with plenty of time to get it done and now it’s crunch time due to this issue.

Hello, I read your post and would like to note that the problem is not critical. Perhaps the jacket lining is creased, so it can be steamed or replaced at a tailor's shop. You also need to consider the quality of the materials used to make the jacket and the patterns used by the manufacturer. I'm more concerned about the narrow lapel of your jacket; it should definitely be wider to better emphasise your broad shoulders.

@Wesley DePorter I wish you success in this case!
green and brown
I was going to try a mono-tonal green outfit today, but that looked a little overwhelming. So I added a jacket from a brown donegal tweed suit I have. It's a little darker than I usually wear in daytime, but I'm going with it.

You look gorgeous in that jacket! The color combination is very successful, and the contrasting scarf is a great touch! In the second photo, I would use dark brown suspenders for the pants so that they don't blend in with the tie.
Which color belt with white sneakers?
What color of belt is best paired with white sneakers? I know the advice to generally match the color of the belt with the color of shoes, but that does not seem to apply when wearing white, leather sneakers. Thanks in advance.

In the case of white sneakers , the colour of the belt depends more on the colour and tone of the trousers. In my opinion, it is appropriate to try a belt in light shades of beige, brown or grey. The main thing is to avoid a black belt, as this will create a strong contrast with the white sneakers.
