The Suit Pt 3
Went to the wedding this weekend wearing the suit I got from Joseph A Bank after getting a better fitting jacket. I figured I would share pictures of me wearing it here with my amazing and beautiful wife.

Suit Fitment
I got this 3 piece suit from Joseph A Bank, ordered it a month ago, went and got it altered there and my one concern was the shoulder fitment. The gentleman helping me said that steaming it would help and it would settle. So I paid for the suit, waited for the jacket in the size he said I needed to come in, then I went back to get it fitted for alterations. I paid a little under $400 for the suit and then $112 for the alterations. I took it home, steamed the shoulders and as I guessed that did not fix the issue. The shoulders extend past my natural shoulders which causes it to crease like shown in the images. I am now taking it back tomorrow for them to look and see what can be done. What should I expect going in? I need the suit for a wedding for next weekend. Again I went in there with plenty of time to get it done and now it’s crunch time due to this issue.

@Robert Meyers I made another post. But I went from a size 44L Tailored fit to a 46R Slim fit and it is better

@Jon Johnson agreed!
Suit Fitment Pt 2
Well Gents, I went back to Joseph A Bank and I was able to exchange the jacket for a size up. The jacket I originally had was a 44L in Tailored fit. I exchanged it for a 46R Slim Fit and they are going to redo the alterations at no additional charges. Pictures of the new jacket. I am happier with this fitment in the shoulders and I will be picking it up on Tuesday next week after it is altered (waist brought in and sleeves shortened).

@Michael McDonnell it is long enough jacket wise; feels good there! Sleeves are getting shortened a little bit though.

@Ben Kinnear I agree, it’s a lot better. I’ll be thrifting sometime for my dark navy suit, and fit will be key!
Overnight flight advice needed…
I have a long haul flight coming up (16+hrs) and I need some help with what to wear. I like to stay smart-casual or better on flights, but I also need to be able to sleep comfortably. Any brands or clothing that you would recommend to accomplish this task?

Do I plan on taking a 16+ hour flight anytime soon? No. Did I still read all the amazing and helpful comments, YES! Great advice from everyone.
Keep or Sell?
This is a Brooks Brothers suit, the jacket is a 46L, would need tailored to have the sleeves shortened. Otherwise it fits and feels good. The last picture makes it look like the collar doesn’t sit flat, but that is because of me trying to turn to take a pocture showing the back lays flat and does not pull. The pants fit well and would need to be brought in at the waist 1-2”. The only reason I’m thinking of selling is because it is a single vent in the back versus a double vent. Is that something I should worry about and make it worth selling?se

@Alex Kilpatrick I will be getting it altered and the buttons are non-functional, so the alterations should not be as difficult.

@B. j. Boyd That is my plan! I will post pictures once I get it back altered!
