Do you think this is business casual?
I'd like your opinion: Do you think this jacket in the "caramel" color is would work with a business casual outfit, where business casual is button-down Oxford +/- sweater, chinos, blutchers or dress boots? https://www.quince.com/men/wool-cashmere-cruiser-jacket?color=caramel&gender=men&tracker=collection_page__%2Fmen%2Fjackets__subcollections-Wool%20Coats__All%20Products__5

@Morgan John Thanks John. I should have clarified I meant as an outerwear piece that I'd wear to / from the office while I'm outside in cold weather.
Is there a line?
Is there a line between dressing well and being a tool? I love to dress well as you do too...however, is there a time and place? I posted Thursday about a fit without a pocket square as to not be "over the top". Today I was at a "cousinsgiving" event and again...was way over dressed. Question, do you ever throttle back given the company? I come from dirty sneakers and rough hands and the family reflect this. Not a dig---I'm proud of my people, they just don't share my passion!

My personal opinion: yes, you can be over-dressed, and doing so is almost as bad, although not as bad, as being under-dressed. I think being over-dressed makes you look like you try too hard. It can also make others in the group experience their own insecurities at dressing poorly, which, to be fair, is on them, but is also something as a good gentleman you probably don't want to do. So what I always aim for is the nicest garments within the confines of whatever the socially determined dress for the occasion is, or possibly +1 level of formality above that. So, based on this picture where everyone is in jeans, sneakers and t-shirts, I would say: level up the sneakers with a pair of nice boots, level up the jeans with a pair of chinos, level up the t-shirt with a button-down and a quarter zip; but, leave the jacket out.
Functional But Fashionable WINTER Footwear
I not very hopeful about this, but I thought I'd ask anyhow. Is anyone familiar with a brand that makes fashionable (looks good with chinos, shirt, tie, and overcoat) winter footwear that could meet the following functional criteria: - Warm for up to an hour at -40C / 40 below F - Water resistant - Salt resistant - Can handle trudging through 16 inches of snow - Extra wide widths - Budget Friendly ~ $100 US / $150 CAD Like I said, I'm not very hopeful. I usually carry my good shoes to work in a bag but, because I take the bus, I'm frequently doing things like shopping, going out to dinner with friends, etc on my way home, so I'm not going to be swapping out of and carrying my outer footwear around in those situations.

I think the budget is going to be the issue unfortunately. Given the price point, thrifting would be the way to go, but of course that doesn’t help you much. I often use feet warmers but those can get expensive for daily wear. Sorry I am not of more help/
Will you stay when RMRS goes paid only?
like many here, I found this community by watching Antonio’s YouTube videos. Since joining, I’ve enjoyed interacting with like-minded individuals across the U.S. and from around the world. With the upcoming changes to RMRS, I am curious if others are planning to switch to the subscription based service at RMRS, BOS, or Watch Lovers (or multiple). The threads announcing the changes have been locked for comment, so I am starting a thread to hear what others think, and a forum to offer feedback.

I understand the business case from Antonio’s perspective. Early in my style journey, I would have paid the fee because this channel was very helpful to me. Now that I feel more confident, I find less personal value. I enjoy answering others questions, but I don’t see that as an activity I’d pay for. I wish Antonio the best and finding a new revenue stream for his business. I have no hard feelings for the change - business is business. I will miss having a source of engagement that isn’t social media. But, I don’t plan on paying.
Head shots
Any advice on finding a photographer for headshots? I’m based in OKC, USA

I’ve done this 2 ways: 1. Find someone who does family pixtures and then have the do some headshots as part of the package. Bonus is that you’ll get great pictures of the family (which scored me brownie points with the Mrs). I found there’s a lot of people who do this. 2. See if your local community college has a photography course. Mine did. I emailed the teacher and got connected with a student.
