Meditation
And speaking of high cortisol—meditation. I figured it deserved its own topic. Do you meditate? Have you found anything that works particularly well (or not at all)? Feel free to share your story here
 if you want to. â˜ș

@Rodrigo Rios Yes, I totaly agree and building the habit first is the absolute must. It's better to start with ~5 mins/day and then slowly lengthen it. But I find that many people tries to start with ~20 min and just "No, I can't do it" thinking that the mind will calm itself right from the start. The mind will ALWAYS wander.. but with time and practise it will get better....

@Annika Ljungberg I love this, and yes meditation is great. In some ways I feel "held" when I meditate. đŸ„°

Welcome!
I'm so tired!
I guess not many of you have had the chance to read this book yet (and admin can delete the post if you feel it's off topic). But when I read it last year this book really got me to reflect on how often we just say "I'm so tired!" not reflecting on what KIND of tiredness it is. The bad sleep, the afternoon dipp, the over-/understimulation, boredom, seasonal and SO many more.. Not reflecting on that different "tired" needs different solutions. So, my question for you is: When do you get tired? And what do you do about it?
I'm so tired!

@Anita RozÄ«te Yes, it's quite faschinating how food and mental health are connected. It's acctually worth its own deep dive. â˜ș

@StĂŒckler Julian It is! But it came out in Swedish just last year so I don't think it has been translated to other languages yet. Only Finnish in January as far as I can seem Maybe the team ( @David JP Phillips @Lucas Reuterstig @Stipe Romac ) can answer if there is a plan to?

A lot! Started to meditate, but for most, actively changing my state of mind, dance to let go of negative feelings and when I need a energy boost. Made youtube-playlist for oxytocin & endorfins. For dopamin & testosteron I mostly use music.

@Lucas Reuterstig Music and dancing/movement, without a doubt. â˜ș Meditation is not a "quick-fix" for me, more for a long term regulation.
