Bossa8.mp3 backing track. I tryng new style. I learned in this one to play more smooth try to match the notes worked in warmth of tone. I would like to do more of this style . Would like to improve the ending. Like to feel more if the dance.

I went as a tourist today to an online class for jazz violinists. They mentioned this jazz violinist... saying he plays lots of fast notes! It was interesting to consider how the techniques on violin are similar or different to flute. What do you like about this? Anything you might like to emulate in your own playing?

As far as I know, I'm the world record holder for freeskating & fluting 😐😐😐😅 I hope someone tries to break it. This was my talent show act for the Vibrant Vegan Fest 2026 talent show. Grateful to my friend Porcha for capturing the moment. I wish I had practiced with my flute in my hands the ascent - you missed me coming up the ramp and having to give myself an extra boost with my hands! That caused me to be having to breathe a little heavier as I reached the main stage! There were a few moments that were "jerky" - it was kind of tight up there on stage! Hmm, I guess I could have practiced that more. I'm happy with my overall performance, but wish it was smooth all around. I should have stayed in place to accept the applause longer at the end! After that I told a short story on the mic. I could have spent more time at the back too! I started this performance from the back of the audience, then rode my skates to the front while playing. Surprise!

If Flutaria were a real place what would it be like?
