Don't let evil play you like a fool. Win the fight
Boys, I been reading these old-school Roy Masters books lately... How Your Mind Can Keep You Well, Be Still & Know, all that stuff … this dude breaks it down like i've never heard. simple. Real simple. Every time you REACT… evil owns your ass. You get mad fast? You get jealous? You get nervous around women? You get triggered like a little kid?Congratulations… you just handed your power away. Roy says that’s what happened to Adam. Man got played. Man reacted instead of standing tall. Same thing we do today. Jesus didn’t do that.Jesus stayed cool.Present.Locked in.Didn’t take the bait. That’s what GREAT MEN do.That's what we're here for right? To become great men. lets go So today, Next time someone tries to push your buttons, just breathe…be still…let it roll off you…DON’T REACT. It ain’t weakness. It’s strength. It’s power. It’s you being a man of God instead of a puppet of evil. Stand tall, fellas.Let’s not get played anymore. How you like the new group logo? Get ready for the call this sunday night 7pm. Its going to be the first of many. a monthly gathering we can expect and commit to. If this group means somthing to you, be there. lmk your thoughts on this post. Do you see how reacting allows something to build inside of you, and you end up losing yourself?

Great post, This is very relevant to me… mostly the tendency to drift to random doubts and fears throughout the day. I’ve noticed I can’t block out the doubts and fears… they're still going to taunt me. But I can be still and refuse to take the bait like Jesus. Eventually they’ll stop coming. Every day I’m getting better at noticing those thoughts, letting them pass & standing tall, and returning my focus back to the shit that matters in life. Mastery of mind for me has been 100% about the ‘SnapBack time’ from noticing negative thoughts —> getting right back into flow.
Personal Greatness
Unlock your personal greatness by getting out of your way. Get out of survival mode. Get out of your head. Get out of your feelings. Get in tune, aligned , in flow, connected to a higher power, your higher self! I’m pumped about this last week of our group challenge. Let’s invite men to come into this group and start the 30 day challenge. They can start any time. This coming Sunday will be a call where I want everyone to show up. Super Sunday. I’ll be announcing more about it this week. Who will commit to being on it at 7pm Sunday? Let me know below. I expect everyone there if you can be. This is the one call per month we ask everyone to come to. Let’s go.

I’m in.
Newbie
Hey guys, I came across Alans video lastnight on FB and it really drove me to give this group a go. I've never really reached out or have even been interested in reaching out for a little assistance with my personal issues/short comings/shitty life style habits but its about time I do make the change or else ill be stuck in this hamster wheel not ever becoming great. I've been a regular drinker for awhile now drinking just about every night of the week 12 sometimes more.....not to get wild by anymeans but to ease stress and assist with my sleep, Im a horrible sleeper the brain does not want to stop....I've also been a regular nicotine user since 15 rather it be dip,vape....I ditched cigarettes years ago......Im still a fairly active individual, running, lifting, coaching baseball/football but 100% not as much as I should be. Nov 1st I'm going to attempt the 30 day challenge......I'm stressing about dropping all nicotine since I've done it for soo long.....I have no idea how to go about it. Anyone have recommendations? I haul fuel so Im in my truck for a good duration of the day so there is alot of muscle memory to my usage.

Romans 7:15-20. Paul knows your struggle… he says, “ I don’t understand it… that which I DONT want to do… I do. And that which I DO want to do… I DONT do.” For the Current version of you … it’ll be really hard to quit. The solution: is not “try harder”… Romans 8:26 is the answer: “The Spirit helps us in our weakness… He intercedes for us through wordless groans”… build that belief. Believe today that God can change your desires… how? Speak it, “The Holy Spirit’s changing me as I speak” and with time you’ll automatically believe it. Religious or not, doesn’t matter… there’s even a scientific explanation for this, the subconscious mind believes exactly what you tell it… guess what? It’s listening 24/7. Tell it that you’re in control now… and if you want to quit then damnit you’re gonna quit. You must speak like this to yourself. This is the equivalent of “changing versions” of self —> to the version of self which has mastery over self/ addictions.

“Craig, what do you do when you mess up royally? I had a situation blow up in my face today.” If you’ve had a similarly tough day or week as my friend above… I want to share my following answer with you too: First, understand that everything will be okay. We all mess up… And we can turn things around. Second, you need an anchor routine so you can mentally get back on track. You need actions that get your mind right. For me, I remind myself of how others view me. It’s kind of like the old saying "Be the person your dog thinks you are". (Always a helpful reminder of how others view you!) In this case, be the person your team and clients and followers think you are… They would expect you to persist, stay strong, and remain optimistic. So you must. Your "Back on track" routine can also feature music (pump up songs) and looking at past triumphs or client testimonials. Third, I keep a Stoic mindset. This reminds me things are never as bad as you think, nor as good as you think. Never get too high, never get too low. Momento mori Fourth, breathe. Four seconds in, eight second hold, seven seconds out. Repeat for a couple of minutes. Fifth and finally, get outside and away from your computer. Go out into the real world. Take a walk. Relax in nature that is thousands of years old… the world will go on. Look at people … real people (not Internet people)… and realize they are all walking around with their own problems and don’t think your problem is a big deal. And that’s because it probably is not. This mental break will help you get renewed to get back to solving your problems. Stay strong and push on. I know you will prevail. Success Loves Speed, Craig Ballantyne

Good saying, my dog thinks I’m ready to play all the time… this will remind me to keep a light-hearted attitude which gets tough at the end of a long day’s work.

Outwitting the Devil by Napoleon Hill… just the story on how it was written was an act of God. It’s an eye opener
