A very luxurious designer fragrance with so balanced notes combination and perfect for warm weather. Longevity 12 hours on cloth and solid 3 hours of projection

I saved the best for last and tested it intensely today. It’s arguably the strongest fragrance in the entire line. For context, none of the SWY fragrances have ever lasted more than four hours on my skin, so I was hoping this one would be different. The scent profile is very likeable. Cinnamon, sweet caramel and vanilla with extra spices. On my skin it smelled fantastic for the first half hour, but by the 2 hour mark it had already faded into a skin scent. 4 hours in, it had disappeared completely. I’m definitely not noseblind either, because I did one spray on my T-shirt and it’s still going strong. I’ve never had a fragrance project this well on clothes. Off the T-shirt it pushes about twelve to fifteen inches, which is wild. Unfortunately, this confirms that SWY is a complete miss on my skin. The profiles are great, but I just can’t wear them. Maybe my skin chemistry will change in a few months or years, and I’ll revisit it then. For now, it’s a fail.

Does sprays distance matter? I have read if you spray too close, it concentrates it on you and doesn't give the frag a chance to develope and/or lift and causes a weak projection. I haven't done an official test to compare, but have you experimented with distance at which you sprays at? If so, what were your results? Sounds like an experiment for tomorrow😁

Twenty mile bike ride in chilly drizzle this morning, and applied this straight out of of a restorative hot shower - absolutely perfect! Clean, fresh, with a distinct smokiness on the dry down. This is something that could be categorised as somewhat old-school, but in no way is antiquated or lacking in complexity - rather its subtle, sophisticated and engaging - the sage and pink pepper notes are high quality and easily distinguishable. Very glad I picked this one up as a random sample, will certainly be on the look out for a good deal on it!
