Passion for exploring and creating content
Leveraging our passions for travel and exploring is something that I love about my digital business. I always wanted to be a hostess or something that included travel in the role. Who else enjoys travel and photography/video? and why do you enjoy it. Today we took a trip to Manly Beach, Sydney.

Travel has always been a core part of my life — it feels less like a hobby and more like a purpose. I live to travel: to see the world, experience different cultures, taste new food, and stand in places rich with history and meaning. It brings me pure joy, and every journey reminds me how privileged I am to live a life where, even amidst sadness, there is always humility to be found. I began travelling in my early 20s when I was single, and more than a decade later, it’s something I now share with my husband and our five-year-old son. Travel has become one of our greatest teachers. It shows my son that life is meant to be lived, explored, and appreciated — and that humility matters. Now, in my late 30s, I feel even more hungry to travel, as though there is so much more to see, learn, and accomplish. That hunger isn’t about ticking destinations off a list — it’s about growth, impact, and living with intention. Along the way, we intentionally get involved with villages, NGOs, and local communities. Having our son see this, be part of it, and do it alongside us is the greatest lesson and legacy we can leave him. It teaches him that no matter where life takes you, staying humble, compassionate, and committed to giving back truly matters. Travel, for me, is not just about seeing the world — it’s about shaping values, building perspective, and raising a grounded human 🫶🏾
My Story: The Seats That Shaped Me
I grew up in ministry. Both of my parents were ministers, and our home lived like a sanctuary — open, welcoming, prayer-filled, conversation-rich, shaped by faith and service. Every Sunday, before church even began, the women I affectionately called “the little old ladies” were waiting at the entrance just to greet me. They weren’t actually that old, but from my child’s perspective, they were the wise grown-ups who carried warmth and presence. Their greetings were the sunrise of my week. They saw me first, asked me about baseball, remembered details, and taught me what care really looks like: noticing first, greeting warmly, listening to understand, and caring because you choose to. They were some of the first caregivers in my life, quietly forming the blueprint of my heart. For 25+ years, I worked in senior living as an Activity Director, creating engagement, inclusion, connection, and belonging for others. When I later transitioned into mental health work, I realized I was still doing the same ministry at its core — helping people feel safe enough to slow down, breathe, and reconnect. In 2024, I started Uber driving here in Orlando, Florida. At first it was just driving, but almost immediately I began noticing caregivers in my backseat. Most never announced it, many never called themselves caregivers at all, but I could see it in their posture — tired shoulders, deep sighs, bodies carrying physical stress and minds still scanning tomorrow. In those quiet rides, I found myself doing what the back-pew ladies had modeled for me long ago: noticing first, holding space, listening more than talking, greeting people like they matter. And at the very same time I was driving for Uber, I started attending Edge United Methodist Church in Groveland. Something shifted in me there. The stories I was hearing in my car and the ministry I had lived around my whole life began to connect. I felt a fire lit under me to find a way to serve caregivers. Not because I had to, but because I needed to. I knew there had to be a better way for faith-led communities to show up for the people who quietly carry the heaviest load.

Wow, thank you so much for sharing. I loved reading this — I can really hear and feel your passion. What a blessing it is to do something that genuinely brings you joy. Every day I ask myself how I can be of service, even if it’s just helping one person. Hope you have a beautiful, blessed day 🫶🏾
A tiny mindset shift that changes everything…
Have you ever noticed how heavy the words “I have to” can feel? 👉 I have to get up early.👉 I have to do the work.👉 I have to show up again today. Now try this instead… ✨ “I get to.” ✨ I get to wake up and try again. I get to learn something new. I get to build something that matters to me. I get to be part of a community that understands the season I’m in. Same task.Same day.Completely different energy. This little shift doesn’t pretend things are always easy — but it reminds us of choice, privilege, and purpose. Especially for those of us juggling family, caring roles, work, dreams, and responsibilities…“I get to” gently brings us back to why we started in the first place. So today, just for fun (and awareness 😉)… 👇 Finish this sentence in the comments: Today, I get to… Let’s borrow each other’s perspective and create a ripple of gratitude and momentum 🌊✨
