Introduce Yourself (ALL Intros HERE Please!)
OK, so by introducing yourself you are guaranteed to get to level 2 - it's really that easy and I LOVE learning more about the cool people in this group. Feel free to share where you're from, why you're here, what you do for a living, and what you like about style. Are you a watch guy, suit guy, fragrance guy, or maybe just getting started? Have fun here!

Halloween Dress Up
A fun outfit for our Halloween party. Thanks to @Antonio Centeno though, I don't feel out of place with this pinstripe jacket, silk pocket square and full Windsor knot tie! Now, not to let "things" get outta hand....

Well done!
Work environment
Here's something I've wondered about. What is your work environment? How does the atmosphere you're in and/or the work you do affect how you dress? When many people hear "dress well," they automatically think "dress up," which means a suit. However, that's not the case. For @Brian McGuire , wearing a suit can be an important part of the image he needs to send to his clients. For @Richard Pollock , wearing a suit not only wouldn't make sense, it could be unsafe. But there's no doubt he dresses WELL every day. For some of us, the atmosphere we're in affects how we present ourselves. For me, a well fitted OCBD and chinos, paired with well polished shoes, still has me a step above (at least) many of the people around me in the office. For me, that's good enough. Wearing a suit would be nice, but I would stick out like a sore thumb. What's your environment and how do you fit in, yet stand out?

As a veterinarian the unspoken dress code is scrubs. I've always hated them. It feels like I'm wearing pajama's to work. I've always worn a shirt, tie, and slacks since I started over twenty years ago. But about that time, one study came out that showed clients trusted veterinarians that wore scrubs more than any other attire. And because of that one study, en masse and almost immediately, veterinarians switched exclusively to scrub attire. (If you are old enough and think about it you will recognize the sudden change) Even as a young man, back then, I rejected this idea. To me it felt like "stolen valor" as if I was going to somehow gain "trust" without putting in the effort to earn it. That was cheap to me. So I never changed, and still today, shirt, tie, and slacks... although, this community is showing me how to better pull that off.
