I came to work today and was going through my normal daily routine. Made my SOTD post and replied here and there when I had the chance. I had NO Idea what was about to happen. I am never one to chase "levels". I just want to learn from the greats in the brotherhood and provide whatever value I can. I come back to make sure I respond to my SOTD post and BOOM!! My Notification box had blown up!! 💥 I can't that you all enough for your support and friendship and all of the wonderful Rabbit Holes I have fallen down either with you or because you (you know who you are)!! 🤣 But I especially want to call out @James Milson for starting the Train today and getting everyone to rally around me. @Brian McGuire , @Jeff Beason , @Raymond Reeves , @Julio Gutierrez @Sean Kavanaugh @Gunny Khan @Justin Tillery @Lon Chaneyfield @Paul Bartnicki I'm sure I've left some out, but please don't take that as I'm not thankful. It's been awhile since I have made a post and have been active. As we all know life puts challenges in front of us, and we need to meet them head on. I’ve been selected as a finalist for Mr. Health & Fitness 2026, and I receive that with genuine humility. This isn’t my first chapter with Mr. Health & Fitness. My journey here mirrors my life—progress, setbacks, recalibration, and resolve. There were seasons when my health drifted, focus slipped, and discipline had to be rebuilt from the ground up. After an amazing weekend in the city with my wife shopping. We went to buy some fragrances (Shocker) 😜. While we may or may not have gone a little overboard which we are prone to do we had an amazing time! All of this to be said, we have been making relationships with some sales people and when we were discussing our collection and what we were about to add. The manager came out and presented us with this Armani/Prive Lacquered display box!! They said these are very hard to get and that they have only had 1 or 2 come in, but they knew we were the right people to have it. They gave it to us for free! Not something I had expected or even knew existed. This is one of those things that keeps me buying from an actual store with an actual person. Even though I may be able to get a "deal" somewhere else. I prefer the relationships. Now I Just have to put my bottles in. I have 2 open spaces to fill. But probably not for long!! 🤣

Today's my 2nd Full day wearing this new fragrance to me. I will give you my take on yesterday's full day wear. Yesterday was 1/2 to 3/4 day in my office then off to NYC for sometime with my best friend and his daughter. So this scent got a mix of indoor office and outdoor cold weather. The scent started off really nice and a bit of a beast, but then the dry down which is soft and sweet. Throughout my time in the office, after a couple of hours I could still smell all the wonderful goodness (vanilla, Amber & Powder). But I had to go "look" for it. Not a simple matter of moving an arm randomly or walking. It was firmly on the skin without the big projection of earlier. When I went home to head into the city, I chose to reapply just 1 or 2 spays, nothing crazy and everything came back to life again but not full beast mode. But still very pleasent. I'm not usually one who wants to reapply, but am learning that some scents just require it or a scent switch for a different time of day. Since this is a new scent to me and I want to go through all the paces (as I see them) I am still a TOTAL novice and am learning a lot from the group here, so this is where my perspective comes in. When I got home after 10pm. The scent was almost gone. I still wonder how much the temp fluctuations in shipping matter to the overall performance and whether after it sitting in my home for a few weeks will some of this change for the better or worse? Either way still a solid buy in my mind and happy I have it. Today is day 2.5 and I'll wear it all day and evening. So I'll check back in with everyone tomorrow. If anyone else has a "Checklist" of how you put a new scent to you through its paces I'd love to hear from you all.
