☕ Trading my Shield for a Coffee Pot (The Shop is Open)
Hey everyone, I was looking at my profile and realized “Cyber Guardian” sounded like I was guarding a fortress. That creates distance, which is the opposite of what I want to build here. We know that for many of us, tech and systems feel like “Homework”—heavy, complex, and demanding. So I’ve updated my role to The Decision Barista. My goal isn’t to add to your to-do list; it’s to help you unfreeze. I build systems that act as a “Compassion Engine” for your business—filtering out the noise so you can move from “High Heat” (Panic) or “Deep Freeze” (Avoidance) back into flow. To celebrate the rebrand, the “shop” is open today. Here is the menu: 1. The Espresso Shot (Quick Fix) ☕ Stuck on a specific tech problem or decision knot? Paste it in the comments. I will give you the 1-sentence solution (no fluff) to help you “move the pebble.” THIS WEEK’S SPECIAL: I’m solving FIVE Espresso Shot requests within the next 3 days. First come, first served. Paste your problem below, and I’ll shoot back the brew. 2. The Foam Art (Reframing) ☁️ Feeling stuck or guilty about a project? Tell me the “shame thought” (e.g., “I’m lazy because I haven’t posted”). I will use the framework to reframe it into a solvable system step, removing the guilt. 3. The Open Kitchen (FAQs & Raw Prompts) 🌐 I haven’t plugged in the full digital machine yet because I want to build it with you, not at you. I’ve set up decisionbarista.com as a simple menu board. Right now, it holds the FAQs and a link to the “Pantry” (Google Drive) where you can grab the raw prompt recipes I use myself. The Ask: Take a look at the prompts in the pantry. Tell me which one you want me to turn into a simplified tool first. — G.S. DecisionBarista.com

PITCH HERE! "If I were you, I'd grow your business by doing THIS"
Happy Monday founders - now let's help each other grow! There are so many brilliant minds in this community, and I bet we can help each other massively with a tiny amount of effort. Inspired by @Matthew Burns, I made this post! As entrepreneurs, we juggle a LOT of hats. That means we often have a massive to-do list and are constantly "doing" things - but it's not necessarily the most effective things. So here's the game: 1. Write a one to two sentence description of your business. Who do you serve, and what do you help them do? 2. Share one spot where you're stuck OR where you're not sure what the most important task is in your business. 3. Comment on at least two other people's posts with one TACTICAL thing they can do to get past their bottleneck or prioritize their task list. Example in the comments. Let's all help each other grow!

@Bill Widmer I know that "context switching" is an absolute killer for the neurodivergent brain. It burns up your executive function before you can even get to the high-value work (like those YouTube videos you want to film). I’m currently rebranding my studio to Decision Barista, and looking at your setup, it strikes me that you are currently "grinding every bean by hand." To celebrate the rebrand, I’m opening the shop for a few "Espresso Shot" fixes this week to help founders reclaim their time. I’d love to invite you into the "Open Kitchen" to co-create a solution for one of these three bottlenecks: 1. The Empathy Bottleneck (Community Support) Right now, you’re paying a high "emotional tax" on manual follow-up. We can install a Custom Compassion Engine (a GPT trained on your voice) to act as your "Head Barista." It serves as an "External Pre-Frontal Cortex" for the community, drafting high-empathy replies so members feel seen immediately, while you save your energy for the big picture. 2. The "Fake Work" Interceptor (The Frog Filter) It’s easy to get distracted "polishing the espresso machine" (tweaking visuals/systems) instead of pulling shots (filming content). We can install the Frog Filter to catch when you drift into "productive procrastination" and gently redirect your focus back to "Luck Creation." 3. The Backend Freeze Nobody likes cleaning the filters. We can use the Backend Barista protocol to put your "Calendar Noise" and "Math Anxiety" on auto-brew. This removes the administrative drag that lowers your IQ every time you have to switch from Visionary Mode to Admin Mode. I’m looking for a few sharp founders to build system that work for us. Would you be open to a quick chat to see which one would free up the most space for you? Gurvinder Singh

@Bill Widmer makes total sense and any work done with automation needs human review before publishing which is part of the systems I build. Let me get back to you after we gather some feedback from the community this week with polls and engagement.
🧠 If we could unfreeze ONE part of your business today, which door needs to open?
We often think we are "stuck everywhere," but usually, it's just one specific door that is jammed. To fix it, we have to name it. Which of these "Decision Shadows" is blocking your sunlight right now? @Rex Loyer @Sebastian Schroeder @Alison St. Romain @Mahedi Kaiser

@Asha Hope Hope that "drop at one point" is the invisible killer because you can't SEE where it's happening. You're winning at lead gen → discovery calls are solid → then something breaks the momentum. Three questions: 1. Do you know which step in your process loses the most people? 2. When you notice the drop, do you debug it or do you redesign everything? 3. What if you could see the exact leak in real-time? (I ask because I'm watching this pattern in 4+ founders right now. It's always the same root cause, different visible symptoms.)
How do you boost your level of charisma on calls?
I recently listened again to How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie and took a few powerful lessons from it. The first thing that struck me is how he starts the book almost like a YouTube video: by establishing proof, authority, and clearly stating what’s in it for the reader. Here are some of the key lessons from the book: 1. Bring out the best in others. Don’t make them focus on the negative. 2. Significant feelings drive our actions and our success. 3. To get people to do things, you need to give them what they want. 4. Learn people’s names. Repeat them three times when you hear them, ask how to spell them if they’re uncommon, and link the name to their identity while they speak. 5. Listen. Listen. Listen. 6. Always make people feel important and appreciated. 7. You can’t win an argument, you can only hurt feelings. 8. Take the blame to dissolve conflict. 9. Ask for feedback while building something. 10. Always try to see things from the other person’s point of view. 11. People love to excel when faced with challenges. 12. Make people feel like it was their idea. 13. Make it human. 14. Use praise generously. 15. Make people leaders and help them feel responsible for others. 16. Talk about your own mistakes to gently draw attention to others’ mistakes. 17. You influence people by the way you treat them. 18. Use positive reinforcement. If you want the full book, you can get it here for free And because I always love anchoring knowledge through subconscious work, I created a hypnosis to go with it. Everything you hear even when you’re not paying conscious attention is being registered by your subconscious. It’s actually your subconscious that decides whether a sound is dangerous or not and whether you should focus on it. This hypnosis helps you reconnect what you’ve learned and what you already know about charisma,

@Asha Hope This breakdown is pure gold, Asha. 🏆 You’ve perfectly identified the 'Laboratory' work—taking external wisdom (Carnegie) and synthesizing it into an internal tool (Hypnosis). You inspired me!!! But I want to challenge you on one specific Carnegie rule you listed: 'Make people feel important.' Posting this list is generous, but sending it personally is important. Right now, you have built a powerful engine (the Hypnosis), but you are waiting for passengers to find the station. The 'Decision Shadow' here is hoping the content sells itself so you don't have to face the friction of direct outreach. Try this 'Espresso Mode' challenge for your next work block: Don't just leave the link here. Pick 3 people who need that charisma boost today. Send them a 30-second voice note (using their name 3 times, as Carnegie suggests!) and say: 'Hey [Name], I saw you're prepping for X. I just recorded a track on anchoring charisma that I think would help you crush that specific moment. Want me to send the file over, [Name]?' That is how you move from High Awareness (knowing the theory) to High Visibility (getting the result). The hypnosis works best when it's in their ears, not just on this feed! 🚀

@Asha Hope I am hoping to share a post explaining this in more detail tomorrow.
🦉 Sunday Night Check: Who is winning the 10 PM negotiation?
The shop is quiet. The grinder is off. But for many of us, the noise inside is just getting started. ☕️ Yesterday, we named the 'Decision Shadows' blocking the light. (Loving the 'Let the sunshine in!' energy from @Alison St. Romain But right now, the sun is down. And for the ADHD entrepreneur, the 'Sunday Scaries' often trigger the Sleep Goblins—that urge to stay up late to 'steal back' a sense of control because we dread the structure of Monday morning. Here is the Hospitality Truth: You cannot pull a perfect espresso shot tomorrow if the machine is overheated tonight. If you are feeling that 'shakiness' or heaviness right now, do not try to build the whole business plan. You need Matcha Mode (The Gentle Brew). We need to find just one 'Compassionate Pebble' to move so you can sleep safely. Let's set the menu for tomorrow morning right now. 👇" @Reema Rana @Sebastian Schroeder @Rebecca Bautista @Matthew O'Brien The Poll: 🧠 The Internal Menu: What is your nervous system ordering?

@Rebecca Bautista Rebecca, everything stops for this. There is only you, and the love you need to give your cat. We are holding a silent vigil for you and your furry friend. Take all the time in the world. 🕯️
