Premiering Merve: Pacifico
Here we have a wonderful alternative to Bleu de Chanel EDP. A citrusy, spicy, musky/ambery, and woody powerhouse. Smells amazing, and has great performance and longevity.

Advice!
All seniors here please kindly guide me regarding a dilemma I'm facing. When I first started my fragrance journey I was still in my home country living with my parents and did not have any major expenses by myself. I used to work as well and study and I used help my parents with bills as well and then the rest I would spend on myself eg on a new fragrance. I had a collection of 5 to 7 designers back then. Fast forward to 12.12.25 now I'm studying abroad and I bear all my expenses myself and still help out my parents when I can. However, I've seen a huge shift in regard to my mindset regarding buying new fragrances..all my fragrances are almost used up except for the Aqua di gio parfum ;( . I want to buy a new one but now I don't think it is sensible to buy 2 3 as they are a bit expensive here in EU as per my opinion and I have to also save for my own bills and tuition! how do I go forward and have a healthy relationship with this hobby in a way it will not make me regret? I'm thinking about sticking to only 2 or 3 fragrances even though sometimes I get very tempted to buy a fragrance that I wanted for long time or that I used to like a lot! Yesterday I tried out Juliette Has a Gun Ego Stratis and now I'm in love with it but it's 100€ for 50ml 🙃 ... fy I'm 23 , a student nurse and I manage all my expenses alone . Anyone else ever face such situations?

I also agree with @Steve Louis, clones are a smart way to go. I will add to it, always look for reliable discounters online to get the best prices. You will not always find the best prices in stores, retail prices are always more elevated, even when they have “Offers/Sales”.

Today I'm going with another recent pickup, one that most reviewers say is the best clone of Xerjoff Naxos. I have a decant of the OG and side by side, I have to say - it's really close. The honey and tobacco really come through in this one with what I feel is better projection than the OG. My only real complaint is the cap - the bottle itself is cool with that frosted glass but that cap - it's kind of cheesy and it's a little hard to secure back on. When I got the package it was off and rattling around inside the box. All in all - I'm really liking it so far.

SOTD - LEVEL 9 with a dash of You? by House of Dastan
Good evening, Brotherhood! Man, today had me running around like a caffeinated squirrel, but I finally carved out some time to tap in with you all. First off, huge honor hitting Level 9, not because the number looks cool, but because it’s a reminder of how much I’ve learned, how much I’m still learning, and most importantly, the connections made along the way. That alone is worth its weight in protein powder, creatine, AND a full tub of pre-workout! So today I dove into a few samples from the House of Dastan, and the one I landed on was… You? Who, me? No no… YOU? Yep, the fragrance is literally called “YOU?” According to the brand, this one is inspired by “discovering who you are and who you aspire to become.” And honestly, with a note list longer than my holiday shopping receipts and some wild, unexpected ingredients, I’m convinced this one is meant for you to interpret however your nose wants. It really leans into that “define what makes you, YOU” vibe. This is a Floral Fruity Gourmand from 2024 by Richard Herpin. The opening hits you with this waxy fig citrus combo dusted with cinnamon. It took me a minute to figure out what I was smelling, had me questioning my entire olfactory education. I had to keep re-spraying just to wrap my head around the opening because it doesn’t stay long before shifting into a smooth, milky, slightly vanillic, creamy phase with a woody base. On skin vs. clothes? Night and day.On skin, that milky vibe hangs around like it paid rent.On clothes, the jasmine, bergamot, and brighter florals take over and stay lively. Later in the dry down, the white chocolate makes an appearance, and surprisingly… it’s not bad. Actually, kind of unique. Overall, this is a very distinctive unisex scent definitely one of those “your nose tells its own story” types. For me personally? A bit too milky. Not quite my jam. But my wife? She’d absolutely rock this one and probably smell amazing doing it. Performance is above average still catching whiffs 6–7 hours later. Projection is just under an arm’s length, and the sillage is present but not beast mode.
