Good Morning Fragrance Family. It is a really frigid grey morning here in Chicago with temperatures down in the single digits after we were enjoying 60s and even a 70 degree day just last week. That Midwest weather likes to keep us humble. Sometimes I get so deep down the niche rabbit hole that I forget just how good some designer fragrances can be. They may be few and far between, but when they hit, they really hit. My scent of the day is Boss Bottled Absolu. This one is a beautiful sweet, woody composition with a slightly incensy backbone and a subtle leathery vibe that gives it some depth. I am really glad I listened to my brothers from the Brotherhood of Scent and grabbed a 30ml of this beauty some time ago. It has definitely earned its place in the rotation. Let’s get off to a great start and see what the week brings. Stay warm and smell fantastic.

Hey good people, snowstorm day here in Canada. No school, so I’m working from home. I decided to wear IA Every Storm A Serenade, a beautiful fragrance; one of good ones from the house. A fresh, moody and very different from a typical aquatic scent! I get decent protection and longevity, 5-6 hours on skin. I just lost a whole long post, including pictures and a poll question asking for advice, because after battling the EDT vs the EDP today I’m stuck on which Sel d'Issey I want to get… but this stupid Skool app bugged out and I lost everything as I was trying to scroll up and click the post button. The entire text box with my post content just disappeared. Dammit dammit dammit. This app is buggy AF and I hate it. This isn’t the first time I’ve lost a post after writing it. I guess I have to write things up in my Notes app on my phone or whatever and then copy paste it into the app. I don’t have the energy to reconstruct my post tonight, so instead, you get my little rant here.
