Hi folks, I’m new around here..
Over the last few years I’ve been thinking a lot about the direction humanity is heading in. Technology is accelerating rapidly—especially artificial intelligence—and it’s becoming increasingly clear that our governance systems struggle to keep pace with what we are capable of building. Because of that, I’ve started exploring a simple guiding principle that I call Mutually Assured Survival (MAS). For much of the 20th century global stability was often described through the lens of Mutually Assured Destruction—the idea that the threat of catastrophic conflict prevented escalation. But the world we are moving into may require a different mindset. The question I’m exploring is whether humanity can develop systems of cooperation, governance, and technological responsibility that orient us toward Mutually Assured Survival instead. This isn’t a finished theory or a claim of having answers. It’s simply a framework I’m beginning to explore and document. I fully understand that new ideas are often met with scepticism or disagreement. That’s part of how ideas are tested and refined. For me, this is simply an intellectual project that I find meaningful. I’m interested in seeing where the exploration leads over time. If nothing else, it’s a conversation worth having as we move deeper into an age of powerful technologies.

I tend to always do this....but I link everything to movies I have seen....perhaps this helps me to understand and reflect. Have you seen Arrival? A truly beautiful film, I highly recommend a watch. I feel Arrival touches on this subject a little, if I am correct. The theme of the movie in my mind is that in order for us to truly achieve greatness, we have to work together and end our intent on destroying each other entirely. We all hold a unique way of looking at things like a single piece of a puzzle. If we put our puzzle pieces together we would be able to see the bigger picture not just the tiny obscure image that we hold. What could we achieve with the whole picture? Lol, not too sure I have put it perfectly but this is just what came to mind :)
24 hours of silence and stillness
Since arriving in bali 2 weeks ago there has been lots moving. not only in my own field but also in the collective field. tomorrow in bali is nyepi. 24hours of silence. the whole island, pauses and stillness ripples across the island. I felt a mix of things when I learnt that we basically have to remain within the premisses of where we are staying for a whole day, no one is allowed to leave and be out in public, all shops are closed. even the airport. I observed feelings of apprehension and fear coming up- like ok what am I meant to do for a whole day with everything closed, possibly no power, no ability to consume and uncertainty of the unknown. but truthfully there is so much beauty in it snd is see that. its an invitation to cultivate my own stillness. to meditate deeply, journal intentionally and quite my own noise. to reflect and just be. in the stillness and in the silence. the more I lean into the curiosity and playful approach rather than the what the f*** am I going to do energy- the more I can see how having a whole day with no electronics, no external noise and just a book, a journal and myself is actually such an incredible blessing. how amazing to be able to experience a place in complete stillness, within a world where there is so much external noise happening constantly, everywhere. I would love to hear how some of you cultivate your own stillness and silence?

@Jasmine Carney How was your Nyepi? I found it to be truly wonderful in the end. It gave me so much space to just sit and reflect. I would love more days like that truth be told lol.
A reflection about reality
We are all energy. For a fact 😆, we are all energy. We can take a rock in our hands, and we usually say this is a rock, or this is a stone, but we rarely think beyond that. You see, names are only definitions that We use to describe our perception of objects and living beings inside our reality, and that's it. But a rock is not only a cold and hard object. A rock is the combination of different kind of atoms and molecules sometimes, even with tiny particles of metals or not, depends. But wait, a tree is also made of molecules and metals, so as the clouds, made of tiny water particles, or earth, or glass, or us, human beings. And far beyond that, every atom is made of three principal components, electrons, protons and neutrons. So yes, we are all electrons, protons and neutrons, but that's not it, for each of those subatomic particles is made of quarks. And I like the theory of strings myself, where also every quark, those little energy particles that form our entire universe, are made of more little energy strings that exist in every dimension of space. Those strings are in constant vibration, emitting a frequency that exists in every object, for that vibration makes quarks, and quarks make subatomic particles depending on how they position, and subatomic particles make atoms, and atoms make molecules, and we are all made of atoms and molecules 😆. So yes!! The tiny water drops, the big trees of an ancient forest, your favorite pet, the sky, the clouds, the stars, we are all made of the same things and we are all at constant vibration. Everything is Energy. And We are also energy, We are the universe appreciating itself from a conscious mind. So in reality, We need words to give sense to our daily basis, but never forget, We are all part of the same universe, and the universe is made of the same particles!! We are individuals, yes, but we are also part of the everything, and we are the everything itself, never forget it, more on that in future posts. So the next time you grab a rock in your hands or take a walk through the forest, always remember, you have more in common with your surroundings than you will ever think. Thank you so much for reading. 💝

In NZ, Lake Tekapo they have The Dark Sky Project. NZ has some of the darkest skie sin the world, especially Lake Tekapo and surrounding areas. I highly recommend their experience to go up to the Observatory and they talk about stars, planets, the universe and more. But for my simple brain the one thing the guide said that really struck me and stuck with me was "we are all just stardust, we are made up of the same things as the stars". I always thought that was so the most beautiful, yet simple explanation of what we all are.
End of Week Check-In
Blessings New Earth fam 🤍 Sometimes growth looks like a massive breakthrough… and sometimes it looks like: “I didn’t quit.” “I showed up.” “I told the truth.” Both count. All of it counts. So before we move on—what happened inside you this week? 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸-𝗶𝗻: • Best thing that happened? • Hardest challenge you faced? • Biggest win (tiny wins are welcome) 𝗢𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹: • What are you outgrowing? • Where are you still holding back? • What mission are you committed to right now? Share a line. A feeling. A real moment. No perfect wording needed. Just you.

The best thing; Nyepi!! I put down my phones, my laptop, everything! I just enjoyed the day the old fashioned way...without distractions and stimulation outside of the natural world! It was beautiful. Hardest challenge; continuing to work in an industry that I would like to leave, but I am thinking I can really learn from this experience and take many skills into a more aligned space. Biggest wins; I am teaching my dog, Kylie to sit on the scooter with with, she is picking it up quickly....of course she is. She is a Bali street dog lol. But proud of her none the less.
First time I actually sold any of my Art
Yesterday I launched a Printify page with original art work drawn for the Solar Cross Calendar project. Which is a 13 month symmetrical calendar based on Equinoxes and Solstices. I made a promotional 33% off for two weeks. One week before Spring Equinox and one week after. It basically pays for production and shipping and leaves just a bit of profit. It’s a small step but it’s something after 3 years of working on this. https://solarcrosscalendar.printify.me/ When I posted about it on IG and FB and here on this group. I then felt a very weird and intense feeling, it was a mix of pessimism, anxiety, fear, even dread. With this undertone of “why the fuck Im I even wasting my time on this”. But at the same time it felt electric ⚡️ and that I opened a door to the unknown, like a timeline shift that I have no idea what it will mean. This idea has been in my mind for 3 years and have been very reluctant to make it public, because proposing a new calendar seems totally unrealistic and megalomaniac. But the idea wouldn’t leave me alone, I would forget about it and then have a dream and would wake up and draw or do the math and discover hidden aspects. Even in some meditations some information would pop up out of nowhere and I would check it and it would make sense. Sometimes it was even annoying me, Im not kidding. So I have no idea what this actually means, I have no expectations for anyone to actually use this framework. I have been using it for my own personal reasons and I like the rhythm that it gives to my life. It feels more natural to synch everything with equinoxes, solstices, moon cycles and eclipses. But one thing that is becoming more and more important for me is not the calendar itself, it’s just a finger pointing to the moon, it’s not about the finger it’s about the moon. We are running our lives and society as a whole on a calendar that was made by the Roman empire to run a system of control and domination, and the same system was exported all around the world through colonialism. So if we like it or not, subconsciously we are running our lives as the continuation of an archaic empire of domination. We need a New Story that we tell ourselves as a species and what we are doing on this planet we call home. If this calendar helps frame this New Story or just opens the discussion, so be it. But the story is important not the calendar.
