Introduce Yourself (ALL Intros HERE Please!)
OK, so by introducing yourself you are guaranteed to get to level 2 - it's really that easy and I LOVE learning more about the cool people in this group. Feel free to share where you're from, why you're here, what you do for a living, and what you like about style. Are you a watch guy, suit guy, fragrance guy, or maybe just getting started? Have fun here!

This is a three-way post, combining an outfit of the day, a thrifting win and a bit of a weight-loss victory lap. I saw these pre-owned (but in excellent condition) Luciano Barbera pants on eBay last February. They are 100% gray wool flannel with a lovely white chalk stripe. I snapped them up for the princely sum of $85 plus $10 shipping. Alas, when they arrived, I saw that they were size 52 cm, equivalent to a size 36 inches, instead of the 38 inches advertised on eBay. I contacted the seller, who promptly offered to refund my purchase price and pay for the return shipping. But I really liked the pants and I decided to keep them, having my tailor adjust the length and taper the legs a bit, then stashing them away in my closet as a “hope” item — those of us on a weight-loss journey do this to motivate ourselves to keep on keeping on. Last night I went rummaging in my closet for a pair of gray slacks to go with the shirt I had chosen to wear out to dinner. I came across the trousers and having lost a few pounds in the past couple of months, I tried them on. They fit surprisingly well. Success. 🙌 Canali blue glen plaid blazer; Tom Ford pocket square in gray silk with white polka dots; David Donohoe pink cotton twill button-up shirt; Luciano Barbera gray wool flannel trousers with white chalk stripes; Isaia medium brown leather belt; Southern Scholar calf-length pink pattern socks; A. Testoni leather loafers; Apple Watch Hermès Series 10 with Grand H stainless steel watch band.

Anson Belts
Just wanted to say that thanks to @Antonio O. Centeno and RMRS I went ahead and got some Anson belts and they arrived yesterday. Already in love with them as they fit so much better than the belts I was wearing. Thanks for the recommendation and thanks for the great product!

I’m from the UK and got mine back in 2019. When one of buckles broke a couple years ago in was replaced with no issue. Great belts with great customer service. I would highly recommend.
DIY solution for making the most of my walk in closet.!
So I looked into getting a fancy custom walk in closet built. There was a lot of empty space not being utilized and I called one of the people to come in and give me a quote. Oh my God it was $10,000!!! The proposal looked really nice but I asked for the most basic solution (with no fancy glass and doors) and it was still 5 figures!!! Declined, went to Home Depot, got some melamine boards and cut to size, bought a brad nailer and some corner braces, and voila! Not the best craftsmenship work but I am not really a handyman, messed up a lot, missed with the nail gun several times and messed up the wood, but here is what is looks. Still need to build one more but it meets all my needs. I like all the imperfections and am proud of the blood, sweat, and almost tears put into this project! Had to put together all the IKEA drawers under the DIY hanging solution as well and it was a nightmare to fit everything in the closet after already building it!
