SOTD: Day Three Edge of Eden
First SOTD post in a while but thought you should know about this one. It starts off nice and fruity from some apple with a nice hit or peppermint. The open has some pretty decent projection and the smell is divine. As it starts to dry down I can definitely pick up some floral notes mixing either the apple and mint. Gives off an Apple orchard vibe while eating a mint. As for the base notes of metal, concrete and steam I’m not sure I’m picking any of those up individually but I definitely pick up a nice clean metallic smell. Imagine a freshly cleaned old school warehouse. Overall performance was decent I got about 6.5 hours total wear. I didn’t do my normal spray routine since I wasn’t sure how it would perform. Next wear I’ll add a few more sprays. I’d say this one is tied for my favorite from the house.

@Ben E I still think Bani is my favorite but this one is pretty close. I’m a sucker for freshies so that helps
Creed Silver Mountain Water
Today’s SOTD was Creed Silver Mountain Water that I got on the “deal of the century” Clean, smooth, and slightly unique, this is a fresh scent with a little twist. It opens with a crisp citrus note, then quickly settles into a soft green tea vibe that feels airy and calming. There’s a subtle musky dry down that keeps it classy. Performance is decent but not amazing. Projection is basically non existent but it does leave a nice scent trail. I only got about 5 hours out of it. For the discounter price this is still pushing the limits of being “worth it” for me. Now at the price I paid, it’s a steal. I also have a clone of this one, Afnan Supremacy In Heaven. While I’m a huge fan of the Afnan, the Creed is much more refined and well blended. It just feels and smells more luxurious. If I had to recommend one I would recommend the clone. It is a bit more “screechy” throughout but the performance is beast mode and still my most complimented fragrance in my collection.

Suggestion …
In the mood for a new Blue Fragrance this summer and looking for some suggestions. No Acqua Di Gio / Sauvage / PDM / Mancera / Bvlgari … have stuff from those houses and looking for something that’s not gonna cost an arm and a leg ….

Fragrance haul of the Century?!?!
Could this be the “fragrance haul” of the Century? Not because of the number of fragrances, but for the price! So about 2 weeks ago a guy at work said “man you always smell good!” What would you recommend for me? I only have Acqua Di Gio and D&G Light Blue but I want some more. So of course I told him about fragrance discounters and he asked me to some to his cart that I would recommend. I added 5 and he bought 3. He bought Creed Silver Mountain Water, JPG Le Beau Le Parfum and Paco Rabanne 1 Million. I was trying to think of mass appeal and ease him into niche with the Creed. So this guy comes in today and says “man I don’t really like any of them, since you like them would you want to buy them off of me?” I asked what he was looking to get out of them and I was stunned by his answer. He said to give him $80 and come pick them up. So I said you want $80 each or $80 for all of them? $80 for all of them! That is absolutely insane to me and I gave him the $80 before he had a chance to change his mind! 😁 this has to be the best buy ive ever ran across!
