Thanks @Daphne Sasson for reminding me of this song, 50 Ways... by Paul Simon. I bet with another hour or two and the Flutarian mini-improv method you'll be improvising something at least as cool as this in your own unique flute voice!
1. Process. This was my fast one in C . What I liked or do more is the intonation was good. Specially sounded airy at times needed more rythym more emotion more flow through out.. keeping tempo 2. Process I was trying to work up in register.and be emotion-Liked or do more of the melody. Specially still no emotion needs to be more. 3. Process. Working up the high register to stay in tune. Liked the melody do more if melody started a little emotion. Specially emotion or contrast soft to loud and good start on high register need to be more open .specially need to more open in throat needs to be biggerto get pure tone. Overall recording really helps me improve. Next is 3 with I and V chord then favorite.
Congratulations @Julie McKenna on your debut as a public improviser!! Was this your first time improvising out there in the real world?! Great job! Looking and sounding like a rock star up there!!
