Proud of my macros today. This has been very hard lately. Mainly to get my high end of protein. I have a range and always hit the low end but very rarely hit the top goal!

Friday win!
Writing this as I’m on my Walking pad, and I wanted so bad to just stay in bed this morning. After the second snooze I got up to get my workout in before work. I haven’t done my strength the last 2 days because I’m switching my W/T for sat/Sun (I teach dance during the week so This just helps my energy levels when I have such late nights) and I knew to stay on track I had to do my workout this morning. Proud of myself for just getting up and doing it!

Honestly, lower body day is NOT my favorite day. I was already dreading it yesterday when I was doing upper body. Discovering that I have to get up early and knock it out before my knees remember how much they hate squats. Do hard 💩

Challenge Accepted!
I was 8g short on protein yesterday and thought about chugging some clear right before bed. Ultimately I decided not to. After being on the education call and talking to Ashlynn about cramming in protein at the end of the day when I fall short - mainly so I can check the protein box - she said if I’m close and full, I don’t have to have more protein just to hit the number 🤯. Challenge accepted and I acknowledge that sometimes it’s better to listen to my body and what it needs vs. forcing a goal. It was hard not to check that damn box (which was also the kicker for not getting my overall checkmark for the day) but felt good to shift my mindset, listen to my body, and break my OCD box checking habit. And guess what?! I didn’t die 😂

Week One
Three days into the new challenge and whewww 😅 Sore muscles, tight legs, and definitely feeling it. . Huge shout out to Team 4 for the meal ideas this week and the consistent greens support 🌱💚 . That kind of accountability and encouragement makes a difference. And a big shout out to @Ashlynn Dohman coaching me through seeing some red on my food log ❤️ Being honest—seeing red can be a trigger for me in the log can be a trigger. Yesterday the calories and carbs were over and for once, I was actually okay with it. I’m classically under-fueled, so going a bit over and knowing I was putting good, nourishing things into my body felt like progress, not failure.
