Controversial Question....So, I know most of us are peri/postmenopausal, but I have a question for something concerning my daughter. No, she is not 18 yet, but she is struggling and I don't want her on anything promoted by pharmaceutical companies bc I know what I've gone through bc of it. She is very similar to me when I was her age: extreme anxiety and she also gets ovarian cysts that cause extreme pain (I had one rupture in my early 20s). When she turns 18 (not too much longer), I am going to suggest she try some peps. I am thinking selank for her anxiety. For the other, I have heard tirz helps with PCOS. Has anyone here had experience with this? The only concern I have for that is she is TINY..under 5ft and maybe 80lbs. Her doc has suggested birth control. I have a problem with that bc I know it increases the possibility of blood clots, and I have an autoimmune disorder that causes them so I can't take it, so I'm worried she has the same.

Who all is on HRT? I just saw an NP today. My GYN and PCP both don’t prescribe until periods have stopped for a year. I still am fairly regular but skip here and there. She said I would likely be on estrogen patch, progesterone and testosterone cream. How long until you felt a little more energetic?
