I've been using Stringjoy strings on all my guitars, bass, banjo, and mandolin since 2023. Never had a problem with them. @Jeremy Livingston, over the 45-plus years I've been playing guitar, I've broken strings (usually the G-string, but sometimes the B- or E-strings) during a string change many times with different manufacturers, so that's not unique to Stringjoy. Strings are going to break sometimes. Check your tuners, nut, frets, saddles, and bridge to make sure you don't have a tiny rough edge or burr that might have caused the break. Why I like Stringjoy: 1. I can create custom balanced string sets on guitars I keep downtuned... I like heavier strings on strings 4-6 for a fatter bottom end and lighter strings on 1-3 for a brighter top end and easier bending and fretting. With other manufacturers, I'm stuck with what they sell, though I do put Black Beauties on my hot pink Jackson Pro Soloist and lime green Jackson RRXT, partly because I like the way they look on that guitar. 2.
