🚀 LIVE WORKSHOP: Plan Your 2026 Workshop (Dec 17th)
Hey everyone! It's that time of year. You're looking back at 2025, and maybe you're feeling one of two things: 1. "Wow, that was a whirlwind. I'm exhausted, and I have no idea how to make next year less chaotic." 2. "I hit some goals, but I feel like I was just winging it. I need a REAL plan for 2026." If either of those sounds familiar, I've created something just for you. Introducing: The Plan Your 2026 Workshop This is a LIVE, 90-minute workshop where we will plan for 2026 with intention. This isn't about setting vague goals and hoping for the best. This is a hands-on, reflection-based planning experience designed to give you clarity and a plan for your most profitable and fulfilling year yet. By the end of this workshop, you will have: ✓ Clarity on what to let go of and what to double down on. ✓ Your 2026 Identity & Theme: A guiding principle for the year. ✓ Your "This Time Next Year" Vision: A compelling picture of your future across YOU, BUSINESS, and LIFESTYLE. ✓ Specific Revenue & Session Goals: The numbers you're actually working toward. ✓ Your Big Rocks Map: The non-negotiable anchors for your year (professional & personal). ✓ Your Q1 2026 Focus: Your top 3 priorities to start the year with momentum. The Details: - Date: Tuesday, December 17, 2025 - Time: 9:00 AM Sydney time - Where: Live on Zoom. Details in the Calendar tab - Investment: FREE for the Pet Photographers Collective members Can't make it live? The replay will be available for US$27, or you can get it for free when you join the Premium Membership. This is for you if you're tired of reactive, last-minute marketing and you're ready to plan your 2026 with intention. This is NOT for you if you're looking for a magic bullet or you're not willing to do the work. Why I'm Doing This I see too many talented pet photographers get stuck in a cycle of overwhelm and inconsistent bookings because they don't have a plan. This workshop is designed to break that cycle.

@Jenny Garrett That's great about being asked by local pet store to take photos. Make sure you have something to get their details so you can start building your email list.
Sunday Shout Out: Celebrating Our Pet Photographers Collective members
I just wanted to so a shout out to celebrate those of you in the group who have been engaging and contributing. I've been checking my metrics for the group and: In the past 30 days, the group grew to 153 members (+21). I've had to kick out a few people for trying to solicit business. I want to keep this community about pet photographers helping each other and anyone trying to push their services or soliciting business will be removed. If you see anyone doing this please report them and I'll make sure they are out of the group. I want this group to be filled with authentic and genuine people. ➡️ In the last week 53 members (35%) were active. ➡️ Highest Activity: 130 activities on December 3 ➡️ Lowest activity: 12 activities on November 30 I really want this to be an engaged community and here's how you can help: ➡️ COMMENT on posts ➡️ LIKE and support each other’s posts ➡️ CREATE a post, ASK questions & jump into conversations ➡️ INVITE others to the community 💥 The more we engage, the more we amplify each other’s success and the more opportunities flow back into your business. Top 5 Contributors This Week 🎉 1. @Paula Rogerson 2. @Stacey Sherman 3. @Sharon Canovas 4. @Sherri Krams 5. @Yunet Solorzano Let’s keep embodying true community by: ➡️ Sharing your Learnings or Wins ➡️ Showing the Actions you’re taking ➡️ Engaging & supporting one another Because what we practice here will ripple into your business and show you what’s possible when you stay focused and intentional. Have a great week ahead!

Has anyone photographed a snake?
Has anyone photographed a snake? I had some call today and wants their albino hognose baby snake photographed. It’s about 12”. We’re doing it tomorrow. Any tips or tricks? I’m not afraid of snakes and think it’ll be kinda cool. Just want some ideas to try out. Thanks!

@Suzy McCracken I’ve never photographed a snake. I’m not scared but not sure about being too up close to it lol. Hopefully there’ll be others who can give some tips. Looks like Stacey knows a bit about snakes hehe

Staying Cohesive
Hi guys. I do have my style of editing that I like. Sometimes it’s hard to achieve just because my photoshop skills are still developing. But I do struggle sometimes to stay cohesive throughout my clients edits. As you all know, shooting outside the lights always different even from one shot to another, the backdrop is different as it changes throughout the seasons and sometimes even in each shot for me too as I live in England 😂 I was wondering if anyone has any tips on keeping my images cohesive. I use Lightroom classic and Photoshop for reference. I’m aware of the pasting settings and masks. But I feel I’m doing something wrong. I also feel it’s time for me to start shooting better. I used to shoot whatever I could get. But I feel I need to start planning out my shots better. Which is hard when we have tornado dogs on our sessions 🌪️ 😂 I shot a session last week and it’s so hard for me to edit in my style because it was such a bright day and I was in a different location not much shade. My style is more moody sometimes slightly underexposed look and towards a fine art style for outdoor photography. Sorry for the long message but grateful of any tips as I’m self taught I’ve been doing this for one year xx

Hey Paula, I think it's about finding your style. It may take you sometime in the beginning but once you've worked out what you love and what your "style" or brand is, then it's really important to be consistent so your brand looks cohesive. For me I use Imagen AI which has learnt my lightroom edits and then I take it into photoshop and apply the PS Actions I've recorded. I've taught my VA to edit the way I do it using my actions and she's doing a good job at being consistent and matching my style. Hope that helps
