Ted Lasso Hung a BELIEVE Sign Above the Door
Ted Lasso Hung a BELIEVE Sign Above the Door and His Team Still Got Relegated (So Why Is Yours Taped to Your Monitor?) You may not know I'm a huge Ted Lasso fan. Lots of life lessons in the show. The biggest is "Believe"... Let's talk about the thing nobody posts on LinkedIn. Everybody quotes the sign. Nobody quotes the standings. Season one, Ted tapes a yellow piece of paper above the locker room door. One word on it. BELIEVE. It becomes the most screenshotted prop on television. Coffee mugs. Phone backgrounds. The wall of roughly every co-working space in America. And at the end of that same season, Richmond loses in the final seconds and gets relegated. Demoted. Dropped out of the league. The sign was up the whole time. 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲'𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 Tuesday morning, second cup of coffee. There's a version of that sign somewhere in your workspace right now. Maybe it's an actual quote graphic you made in Canva. Maybe it's a revenue number on a whiteboard you haven't erased since March. Maybe it's just the tab you keep open with your "vision" doc in it. You look at it. Then you open your CRM. Four proposals out. Zero answers. Two clients who were "definitely starting in the fall." One prospect who ghosted you after telling you the price was fine. Do I actually know what I'm doing here? Is this working, or am I just refusing to admit it isn't? How long am I supposed to keep believing before believing turns into denial? Welcome to the part of the business nobody makes a graphic about. Here's the reality nobody admits: belief without evidence isn't faith. It's a stall tactic. Read that again. The sign didn't save Richmond's season. The sign wasn't the strategy. It was permission to keep running the strategy after it stopped working. That's a completely different job, and most agency owners have the two confused. 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗶𝘀𝗻'𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 1. You borrowed it instead of building it. Most of the belief in your business isn't yours. You rented it. From a guy on YouTube with a rented Lambo, from a course you bought in February, from a Skool post that hit you right when you needed it.

Business Entity Question
I had to file my bi-annul business entity report today $32 bucks. It got me curious to know who in this group operates as an entity, llc, s corp, c corp . what did it cost you to setup? What are you filing requrements and what do those cost you? Why did you choose your specific entity? I run an llc it is a multi member llc non reporting entity taxation rolls thru a k-1 on to my personal taxes. In Indiana an llc is $99 bucks roughly and $31 every 2 years.
